Watch out! It might all come tumbling down and I will be drowned in AC cardstock! Some of you have seen pictures of my guest room closet, home to Judith Henry Designs.
But it extends beyond the 4x8 closet and into the bedroom.
Since we are in Stay at Home status Ive had problems with keeping up with the scraps and putting away STUFF.
Crafting all the time. Most people are spring cleaning but not me. I need to recycle my scraps and I do that with paper grocery sacks. So online ordering of groceries come in plastic bags. Im running out of paper sacks along with toilet paper.
Chuckle.I have been busy as a bee designing and crafting! What else is there to do? Watch Hochanda TV, what else ;-)

Many of you have heard me tell this story of how I found a new meaning in life. How a mission trip to Africa, meeting people I could not communicate with changed how I look for purpose in my life.
Everyone needs a purpose otherwise they give up on life.During a drought an African tribe needed to survive. To feed their children they sacrificed their cows for nourishment. Tending to the cows was their mens livelihood, their purpose. Without the cows they could no longer milk them. Without the milk there was nothing to trade for other goods.
Before long the family, the tribe, was struggling once again to survive. There were missionaries that helped the tribe by satisfying their hunger. They brought food to nourish them but it did not sustain their need for a purpose. The tribe was given a cow. The next visit they were given chickens.
With each visit a purpose to sustain life was given and the men came out of their solitude to provide for their families.
They were restored by regaining a purpose. During my time of isolation I am being selfish but that gives me a purpose. Things happen for a reason. We did not book a winter/spring get away. We also pulled our geraniums last fall to winter over in the basement.
We are getting ready for spring. Someone is looking over us. My purpose is to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. I do not want to be responsible for your death. I do not have the talent to find a cure.
Im responsible to help nourish your soul with the talents I can do from home. I can give my love through keeping in touch. I can support those who use their talent to keep us safe. I can continue to create cards to send and sell.So help me spread my purpose by Staying safe and healthy.
Just stay home.

Isolation makes one look at nature in a different way. So from my window I can see the tulips coming up even though the rabbits and squirrels are nibbling on them.
The daffodils are coming up in big bunches. Want to make flowering cards with these beauties.
But we realize that cardmaking is good therapy even though the number of occasions such as weddings are on hold.
I hope you all are surviving the isolation.

This morning it was -10 and the high was 10. But the sky was blue and the sun was out. The trees were covered with new fallen snow. Really a pretty sight. The weather has made this week a good crafting time. Several project were completed.
When it was snowing the flakes were large and made wonderful snowballs.

Traveling to the west coast brings us to new destinations that weve never been. We traveled by bus, train, plane and ferries throughout Washington, Oregon and Canada. We hope to return this spring to take in more of Canadas beautiful mountain areas.
Again we will travel by train and enjoy the views.
