Just back from a two week vacation in Norway. It was cool weather which we knew before leaving. So it was good we took layers. We were pampered aboard the final cruise of the Prinsendam. Good food, lovely dinner partners, great food and wonderful staff. Couldnt ask for better views.
We saw many fords with lots of waterfalls. We also studied viking history.

Guess where Im at this time. All I need to do now is to find several new ideas for projects. Right now Im enjoying great weather, wonderful cuisine and meeting new people. We woke up at 6:00 am to a sunny day and had an early breakfast.
We toured Oslo timcluding the Viking museum and history park. The status garden was amazing and open to several interpretations.

I belong to a birthday card exchange through Facebook. It is a lot of fun. I have 11 cards to go this month to over 5 different countries. The best part was getting cards on my birthday. We have lost our traditions of sending cards for special occasions.
Most of the time I only send on births, anniversaries and Sympathy. Im going to try to be better at sending. The photo is pictures of the cards I received. They certainly put a smile on my face everyday in April.

Popup cards are the latest craze in greeting cards. Even hallmark is producing them. I made my first one for sale in 2015 and have been learning new designs ever since. I have been asked what got me started and how I learned the craft?
Its my two inquisitive granddaughter and a supportive husband. The girls love popup books and I started collecting them when the were babies. Now my six year old wants to make cards with me.This summer I wanted to find an opportunity to learn from one of the paper architects.
And I found a two week emersion program in Italy but unfortunately it was at a time when it was impossible for me to attend.
My hubby said, take the tuition and buy some more books to take apart to learn. I cant take them apart but I can examine and learn. My first purchase of 4 books arrived so Im sharing with you.
Im hooping to learn more advance techniques and produce some award winning designs... hopefully!

Just sharing some more Iceland Photos. It is such a diverse country. Important in all the geological wonders. This area reminded me of visiting Yellowstone and watching the paint pots and old faithful erupt. If you havent travels to this area I would strongly recommend the trip.
The waterfalls, rivers and historical stories are wonderful.
