We had a rare experience while on vacation. While looking for a place for lunch we saw a turtle migrating south. He stopped for some bread we had in the car. It was fun to watch him.
When we threw th bread into th water he did not eat it but it did attract many little fish.
The turtle was more interested in them.

I participated in our annual Christmas silent auction this year by providing handmade cards and decorated Santa plates. There were many lively bids going on with competition for desired items. It was a successful fund raiser.
We made over $1000 for scholarships to our local community college and over $100 for the Christmas Cheer fund.

Every once in a while I need to step away from designing and get refreshed with a tour of a new county.
This time we took a cruise starting in Venice. So many beautiful sites to see always ensues me.
I get new ideas from the flowers, landscapes and people we had a great time meeting new people from around the world.

We have had a lot of wind that have blown most of the leaves off the trees. Our maples have never dropped this early and the colors have not been as spectacular as in past years.
However; our drives around the country and state has had some very pretty trees especially the aspens. Our street has bright yellows, some reds and lots of bare trees. Well it is almost November and we need to start getting ready for winter....SHHHHHH
