Seems like months ago that we took this trip. There were so many breath taking views that I keep going back to visit my photos. Not only did we enjoy the scenery but we also enjoyed the history of the diverse cities we visited. And then there is the food.

Wish I was there right now. No more snow please.

Im beginning to think Spring will never come. So, Im looking at pictures of last years trip to North Carolina and the beautiful weather and spring flowers. Hope this brightens your day. So, now I want to make cards that remind me of flowers, butterflies and Easter.

Designing new items to get everyone in the spirit also.

While on vacation we visited the cave of Vlihada in Greece. There were many opportunities to visit caves. I asked and my husband took one day off of historical ruins an towns to do my geological adventure. We were not disappointed.

First we took a short trip in a boatthrough maze-like waterways, domed ceilings. We saw lots of interesting formations. The visit to the cave lasts at least 40 minutes. Part of it was on foot also. It certainly didnt seem that long. The end of the tour was a walk along the short to get back to the entrance.

Four 3 days in a row our children did not go to school because of subzero temperature. The cold wave broke and the temperature rose 60 degrees to 37 degrees. If it was spring and had that change we would say summer is here too soon.

But it didnt last long. Today the children were home from school due to gusting wind and snow. So what do we do with the kids? Pull out the ceramics and paint which requires 3 coats. An all day project. Then take them to be fired.

Obviously one of the children was only three and her coats were in different colors. But didnt we have fun!

Im sure everyone is tired of the snow. This is my backyard view. Ive been stuck in the house now for 4 days. Poor little puppy goes out in the -25 F weather and his feet almost freeze to the ground. He alternates raising one at a time.

I even shoveled a path for him so I dont have to put on his led. Theres no place for him to go but into the snow. Been making my valentine card designs. Caught up on them in one day. Now onto better thoughts like Easter and Spring flowers to cheer everyone up.
