I love getting presents from my grandchildren. Coming from a family of crafting and artistic parents, Gwen is following in her moms footstep. Shes encouraged to express herself in many forms of crafts. This Christmas I received a canvas painting which I proudly hung in my dining room.
The colors are perfect and pop out with the addition of the plants.

We had a wonderful week end with our two granddaughters. Mom and dad had their ugly sweater Christmas party and we had two days with the kids. The big entertainment was a ride on Santas train. They arrived in their pjs. Climbed aboard Cupids car and found our seats.
During the hour ride we sang carols, read a story, had cookies and hot cocoa. We arrive at the North Pole where we were greeted by Santa and Mrs. Claus. That was just the beginning.

No snow today but we do have a white thanksgiving. Love seeing our family enjoying the holiday. With all the card designing this week cleanup was a challenge. Hope we can get back in the yard to get our Christmas decorations up. Happy thanksgiving to all our USA customers.
May your family be with you, good food to enjoy and and a warm day to stand in line for Black Friday.

Last Spring we planted 8 Brussels sprout plants just for the fun of it. We love these little cabbage like veggies and thought wouldnt it be fun to plant and watch grow. Well, just like each card I make I learn something new to improve for the next season.
Our garden is in too much shade so the plants grew small and the sprouts were little. The temperature has been below freezing so we pulled out the garden and had a meal.

We have been vacationing in the northern pacific coast of Canada, Washington and Oregon. I have been taking pictures in several gardens. I hope to use some of them in future popup cards. The weather has been challenging. Rain gear most days but it didnt dampen our spirits.
Good food, wonderful company and an enjoyable time.
