I know it is difficult to see. My hummingbirds wings are moving too fast for the camera to catch. We have at least two birds visiting the feeders. They are solo birds so there have been some chasing between the two.
The granddaughters had fun watching them feed while eating their lunch. Both are female but I have seen one male.

Not only have we been staying with our granddaughters while Mom and Dad take time away with friends. We have also been watching our childrens animals. Last week end it was Ellas turn to tire Grammy and Papa out.
She is a very active dog and luckily the yard has an invisible fence around three yards. Ella runs and has been trained to know the boundaries. It tires her out and when she comes in after her run she is very peaceful and fun to be with.

You know its summer/August when the resurrection lilies rise from the grown from their slender stalks. No leave show since the come up in spring and then die out. This is why they seem to bloom in the most unlikely place.
Either that or we forget where they have been planted. They are a perennial bulb in the Amaryllis family.

My work room is small. It is actually in a walk in closet but holds everything I need. This past two weeks we have the addition of our sons cat visiting with us.
She figured out how to open my craft bedroom door so I had to clean up the space so she could lay down on the bed.
When the cutting machine or printer starts making noise she runs quickly out of the room. Its so fun to have a furry pet back in the house.

After traveling and camping in a trailer for seven months my son has returned home with many stories. Gertrude is enjoying our big house and all the places to hide. She is sporting the latest trend in cat claw covers in honor of Christmas in July.
Wish the temperature would drop so we could be outside more.
