We have a rather large buck hare living here who we saw very occasionally. The last few weeks I have seen him out in the late afternoon fairly often.
I think they are very funny the way they walk rather than hop and the very aristocratic face/muzzle on him.It is only recently we have seen Mrs Hare and have seen them frolicking about quite a few times this week.
This week i have been trying to capture them with the camera but they are very shy, however I did manage to get this pic of Mrs Hare pretty much on full zoom.
As promised the Hearts and Roses cards are now in 3 colours and 4 designs.

As i was going up the back the other day to let our chooks out for a bit of a stretch I heard an odd noise coming from a tree near the chook pen.
I new it wasnt our Tawny Frogmouths who often roost there.
I couldnt see anything in the tree so walked around slowly to better hear where the noise was coming from until i found the tree.
Then it took a bit of looking and way up in the branches were 4 Galahs so i came straight back to the house for my camera.
It nearly took full zoom but i did get some pictures of them.My cards today are Valentine themed.
The heart card will be coming in other colours soon.

A few weeks ago I told how with the wet year we are having that Agapanthus had sprung up (seemingly) out of nowhere.
I was so excited! Well i waited and i waited and finally a few days ago the flowers opened.
We have managed to have a dry week this week which has given lawns and everything a bit of time to dry out but...our friend the beekeeper came to collect honey from the hives and got bogged, the same day my husband had taken one of our cars out of the dirt floored shed so he could put down weed mat and gravel to keep the rabbits from burrowing and got his ute bogged in the shed.
Too funny! It is supposed to be fairly dry now at least until Wednesday. I wonder what Christmas weather we will have. Today i have a few funny Christmas cards for you.

Queensland has again been inundated with rain. With the catchments already full from previous lots of rain this Spring there has been a lot of flooding again.
As nice as it is to have the green grass and the dam and tanks full we dont need the flooding.
As we are up on a hill we are fine but there is a floodcreek that runs through the neighbouring properties.
For about the 3rd time this year our bottom road hasgone under, I think it may be a long time before it gets fixed this time!
Even so, our hearts go out to thosein neighbouring towns which did go under.
Today is the second day of Summer so with La Nina prevailingit will be interesting.

With the frequent rain we have been having there are many plants we thought had gone by the wayside with thedrought, sadly not the weeds.
But it seems my Agapanthus are not one of them. Quite a few have come up in mygarden bed seemingly overnight.
I cant wait for them to open up, I dont even remember what colours they are.As i love flowers of course i have many photos of them, some of which i have used in my latest uploads.
Hopeyou like them!
