I spotted this uplifting design recently in the South of France. It translates as LIFE IS SHORT HAVE A DESSERT. I so totally agree with the sentiment I had just had to share it with all my CUP friends.
The memory of the short trip stays with me and the sunshine, as I stare out at another chilly, grey day.
Hope you enjoy these two offering from my latest uploads. They are part of a series of 8 so look around for your favourite colour/flower. ENJOY !

Ah, I have fond memories of discovering on Easter morning a selection of easter eggs from the family, each in a colourful box, wrapped in coloured foil, just asking to be opening to discover the Smarties inside, or as we got older Milk Tray chocolates ...
French chocolate tradition goes for moulding chocolate into 2 halves of a fish, rabbit, hen or occasionally an egg and filling it with (friture) little chocolate pieces shaped as fish and seashells.
Put the two halves together, tie a ribbon around it and VOILA, French easter chocolate. Anyone want to send a Cadburys Cream Egg my way ??? Happy Easter to one and all !

Ive been quiet this week as I was in the UK for my Mums 80th birthday. We arrived 4 hours later than planned, as the trains were delayed because of the snow at this end, and it was the same thing once we had passed the tunnel.
To say that it was a fraught journey is only half the truth. My blood pressure was sky-high but we got there for her big day. My son up in Edinburgh was not so lucky, since the airport was closed due to the weather and he was unable to fly down to join us.
We did get one frozen smile out of the adventure (apart from Mums of course) and that was this snowman, made by my brother -in-law.
Im sure it will give you a chuckle too. Just had to share it. And to keep the frosty theme, a couple of frozen cards. Stay warm and ENJOY !

It starts in just a few hours so Ive been busy cooking for the event. The Kiwanis CLubs of Saint Etienne (I founded the womens club) are in action this weekend as 80 wine growers come together for the 25th Edition of their annual wine fair.
The ladies club deals with feeding the 5,000 who attend the event, that raises around £30,000 each year for the cause of children in need around the world.
Ive been creating pop-ups this week.
I have also uploaded a Whootie Owl version this week and watch out for my Frozen version, that will go up as soon as I have made up my second version ... my prototype was not quite perfect so I had to do some tweaking and havent had time to get out my scissors yet ....
Too busy in the kitchen. Thanks for looking and ENJOY !

Part of little Ninas Christmas gift from us was this oh so cute outfit we bought for here when we went to Puy du Fou.
She loved it and wore it for recent carnival celebrations in her village.
We werent there, but were sent this wonderful photo of a rather gappy granddaughter. All she needs now is a castle ! Heres another of my animal series for you, (this one for the men) and a little Hattitude .... my 999th upload.
I love you all .... Enjoy your grandchildren !
