Vacations are fun and discovering rocks from the ocean floor on the beach at the Bay of Fundy was just one of the many highlights of our trip.
I wanted to pick up pockets full but that is not permitted.
Besides it would only add to my weight or my luggage weight. It was cold and damp this time of year but it was still beautiful. The air is so refreshing with no pollution.

We were in Canada for over a week enjoying the sites along the Bay of Fundy. Would have loved to meet some of my Canadian customers and designers. Maybe next time. The weather was great. The colors of the leaves breath taking and the sunrise/moon over the bay breath taking.
Its been hard to get back to designing since we returned to Fall in Iowa. The leaves are now turning colors and it reminds me that vacations are good for the soul.Recently I have been working on consignment designs.
Then sharing them with you.
They are always more elaborate then Im use to designing but I think the ones Im sharing with you are examples of how appreciative the recipient are when they were given.
Many have told me they keep and frame so they can enjoy them over and over again. Its so fun to go into their houses and see my designs.

Im so excited about my new venture. Ive been designing and giving away my prototype to friends and family on special occasions for 3 years. My friends have encouraged me to make them and sell them. So last week was a production week.
I make 20 of my Magic Slider cards to take to the Clear Lake Iowa Arts Center to sell on a commission basis.
Before I got out my door my friends bought 6 of them. Im off on a quest now to see what products will be the best seller. My daughter is an interior designer with a great talent on displaying her pictures and cards.
She has made this cute clothes pin wreath that is always changing. One card comes in, out goes a picture. New school pictures are taken, out goes a card. Then Christmas comes and it becomes the wreath over the fireplace with all the cards they receive. Just though Id share with my crafty friends.
Its so easy to make and a great way to display the cards you are selling.

This week my granddaughter started kindergarten. Big moment! Would liked to have been there but it was a special family moment and too early and far away to get there.
This picture shows baby Lillian walking behind big sis Gwen and mommy. Dont worry.
Daddy was taking the picture and wasnt far away. For this occasion I created the Sassy Cheryl - Magic Slider Card - Read to Me - Template. I made one for each girl since I knew Gwen wouldnt want her sister to play with heres. The kit contains two Sassy Cheryl digital stamps in a pdf for hand cutting.
It also has the cutting files and pdf to automate or handcut.

One of the things I like to do on vacation is window shop. Im always looking for unique cards and popups. I have Notre Dame and Paris popup cards, a Cathedrals in Scotland and a Swan easel card.
But I also take pictures of those I dont think I can get home in one piece. This was one I saw in Belgium. It reminded me a lot of the themed Box card by My SVG HUT. The past couple of weeks Ive taken the time to do some research and start creating more popup cards.
I want to expand from the 90 degree cards to other forms. Hope you have enjoyed watching my personal collection grow.
