Last week we made a trip back to London to catch up with friends and family. The night before we left, I saw a lovely sunset while watering the garden.
I was pleased to see it was red as I knew there would be some great weather the next day for our journey.
We left so early that it was misty buy thankfully cleared by the time we were halfway there. Needless to say, it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day.

We have finally got our garden finished. As soon as the weather picked up we managed to get all the grass seed down and get a lovely mix of plants along the fence.
Our neighbour very kindly made us two gorgeous flowers bags again with petunias.
This is a picture from a few weeks ago, but they are so many more now and such beautiful colours.
My Dad knows how much I love fairies so sent a little one down where I found the perfect home for her in the flowers.

Now that the weather has cleared up and the sun is out a lot more we have been cutting through the fields again on our morning walks.
We have not been this way for a good few weeks as it has been so muddy.
The last time Mak was here he could easily see over the crop, but today he had to keep jumping up to see around.
Cant believe just how quick it has got so high!

Now that summer has finally arrived it has been so lovely to wake up, sit out with a coffee and watch some of the gorgeous sunrises.
Its made a change from dull, damp or very wet mornings with the dogs just getting covered from head to toe in mud!
Our walks are back to being very enjoyable and it has been good to put the wellies away for another few months.

We had some lovely snowdrifts when the bad weather was here.
Some of our footpaths were not the easiest to walk on for us but the dogs were running up and down as if the snow wasnt even there, so we made the most of that opportunity by throwing the ball as far as we could up the lane to tire them out.
Took us a lot longer to get home than it usually does and we ended up more tired than the dogs!
