Today we hade all four seasons in one day, frost, to snow, to rain then sun! As lovely as it was our walk ended up being a huge mud bath for Mak.

No matter where we go, he always manages to find any bit of water to roll, run or lie in.

Today was no different! Long shower awaited him when we got back home. Amazing how much he loves water but is no fan of the shower!

Thankfully after some fierce winds and rain the past few days we managed to get out for a walk without the wellies on!

Its been baths every day for Mak and Fidget as soon as they come back in.

The beach and canals here have been flooded and overflowing really bad. So much so that even some of the beach huts didnt escape the water and the canal looked more like a little lake.

So it was nice to see the sun out today for a change.

We have been getting some new visitors this week at the back of our garden. A little parade of pheasants have been strutting their stuff back and forth a few times a day.

Unfortunately everytime we open the door to get a good look they just run like mad and the dogs dont help as they start to bark which frightened them off even quicker.

We have a field at the back of our garden and the wildlife we see is amazing.

We have a barn owl that swoops past each night, pheasants that walk back and forth along the fence, ducks that waddle past as there is a little pond to the right but the best thing has to be the deer.

I really have to get the camera set up so I can get some better pictures.

We have had some cold and wet weather this week. Heating is back on and wellies have been dug out of the cupboard. Not long after we had one of the rain showers we looked out of the living room window and saw the double rainbow.

It never lasted long before another downpour came, but while it was there it was a beautiful sight.
