Im also beading, as this is one of the few things that I can still do as I have osteoarthritis AND carpel tunnel syndrome in my right hand and so for the moment, playing the piano and organ is off the menu!
Ive now mastered brick stitch and these are some of the earrings Ive made using this very relaxing technique. Clicking on a mouse is OK wearing my hand splint, but holding the digital pen that gives me control over every pixel is not possible with the splint, so Ive been being naughty.
Hmmm Darling Hubby is on my case.

My darling husband was very proud of the fact that he had a hob that had NEVER been used, but a microwave that had been changed 3 times, totally worn out by reheating ready made meals.
Since hes been married to me, hes taking up cooking .. er food preparation. Who needs a Michelin starred chef when you get served such a cute little car?

and what a lovely tradition it is to offer Muguet (lily of the valley) as a Porte-BOnheur (good luck charm) on the 1st May.
Its the one day in the year when anyone can sell the flower on the streets, on the proviso that it comes from a garden or the woods.
The poor specimens in the photo were picked in woods near us. Since it has been so cold here, the little bells werent really out yet, but we keep checking back and look forward to a carpet of these beautiful, odorant flowers.
My hubby surprised me with the pot of Muguet on the left - 100% chocolate. Now thats what a call a celebration. Four new tiwst and pop cards up this week, none with lily of the valley but sweet peas are another of my favourite flowers so have a good week and ENJOY!
Since my husband had Covid, he no longer brings me breakfast in bed (yes, wasnt I the lucky one) as we have breakfast together as he now actually breakfast.
What a surprise to come down to this, with a cake and a candle, photos of our wedding on the table and my little lemon tree.
Fortunately I had spotted it hidden outsidethe day before, otherwise I would have forgotten. It have me the chance to design a card for him that you can use for any wedding anniversary ...
I mean what do you do for 9 years! 9 wonderful years with him and 14 waiting for him to pop the question!!!

Since my Cavalier King Charles died peacefully in my arms just over a year ago, I have been dogless as my husband wasnt willing to even consider the idea of another dog.
Nobody seems to be breeding what with blo**** covid, so Ive been renting this little pooch.
Her mistress at 87 and still a concert standard pianist and her dog is called Sonatine to continue her tradition of musically named dogs ...
Mazurka, Scherzo etc. However she is a lousy dog owner as shes obviously too old to take the dog for walks although Sonatine does have a huge garden to run in and her mistress just shouts at her.
Consequently the dog is totally untrained.
I have taught her to sit and take her for muddy walks WITHOUT her little coat and scarf!!! She thanks me by making a huge fuss of me as she looks longingly at my transport for taking her to the lake where she goes crazy and by licking my nose with her tiny pink tongue.
