What fantastic weather we have had in the UK this Easter. We didn't venture far as we don't like bank holiday traffic but we had some nice walks in our local area.

We had a few ciders too in the beer gardens of our local pubs and sitting in our own garden in shorts and T shirts ...... who would believe it for early April!

This photo was taken in our garden. We are very proud of the palm tree in the background as it was just a small plant when we planted it about 8 years ago :) Here are two of my latest designs which I thought I would share with you

Last Summer we went to Croatia for our holidays. We stayed in a quiet little sea village of Cavtat close to Dubrovnik. We were walking down the main street looking in the shops when we came across one shop with this tailors dummy in the doorway.

It did make us laugh! We then went inside and actually bought a few T Shirts and had a laugh with the owners. Not something you would expect to see in a quiet little village in Croatia! Here are two of my latest designs which I would share with you :)

Last Sunday we took a trip to Stratford Upon Avon. We especially like to go this time of year because there is a lovely specialist chocolate shop in the town.

They sell some lovely Chocolate shaped animals all decorated with candies and wrapped in pretty cellophane which are fab to give to our grandchildren at Easter time.

It was quite cold though and no sooner had we got there when we saw this sign saying Keep Calm and Drink Mulled Wine, so we read it and we did it lol!

It was our little granddaughter Mia's 8th birthday on Monday. I don't know where the time goes as it doesn't seem two minutes since she was born. Here she is pictured with her cheeky little brother and our grandson Jack.

Anyone who buys my designs will see where I get my inspiration from lol. Mind you Mia is a bit out of character in a Princess dress because she is quite a tomboy. Her main present from her parents was a BMX boys bike as she thinks boys toys are much cooler than girls!

I don't get much time to myself as I am always sat on the computer designing. I am not complaining though as it is my dream job. I love seeing the designs made in to beautiful cards by the lovely card makers that buy them.

I do like to play with paper myself from time to time. A few months ago I decided to have a go at Scrap booking. We have a copy of an old photo of my hubbies parents when they were young and courting.

So I decided to make a scrap page with it which I then framed and hung in one of the spare bedrooms.

The bedroom had just been decorated in blue and cream so I made the scrap page to match the bedrooms colours and this is what I came up with.
