I used an 8 x 8 card blank as my base but left enough to punch and layer a border.
I trimmed the front to the shape of the design and decoupaged all the pieces using sticky pads. I added my sentiment to the front.
The butterfly was too thin at the body for me to cut out so I added a punched butterfly as I do like to decoupage my butterflies at the body and not the wings (but this is personal choice).
I added a gold elasticated bow to the spine to finish off this stunning design
I printed out sheet onto heavyweight matt photopaper, cut out and attached front to pearlescent white square card, cut round image leaving small border, added inner sheet to inside of card, then added decoupage with foam pads and silicone glue to butterfly and finished with purple gems to corners and light purple organza bow to spine.
A beautiful design in stunning colours.
