Violets and Pearls
Framed vintage portrait of a lady with decoupaged violets. There is a Happy Birthday sentiment or a blank tag for your own message. The finished card is approximately 7" x 7".

I started out with an 8 x 8 card blank, but by the time I had trimmed and punched the edges it ended up fitting a C6 envelope nicely.
I mounted my topper and printed out twice for extra decoupage, and also to decoupage the lovely butterfly.
I decoupaged with sticky pads and added my sentiment to the top right. I added a matching insert and also punched the edge of the insert. I added pearls to the butterflies body and finished off with a fine gold elasticated bow to the spine
I printed the design onto good quality photographic paper and cut it out. I scored and folded an 8 x 8 scalloped edged card. I attached the design to the card using double sided tape.
I added glitter to the pearls around the frame, around the butterfly and to the centre of the flowers to enhance this gorgeous design.
I added the greeting using thin foam tape.
