Sorry I havent posted in a while, I lost my dad middle of June and I am finding it very hard to concentrate to be honest...
We knew it was coming but he was doing so well and really thought they had made mistake with timings given to us..
Unfortunately not was the case..I am now getting back to some normality but its hard as some of you probably know...Anyway I went out this week to my happy place RAF Lakenheath and took some beautiful shots, the weather was just beautiful I it was a nice change to get out and about..Hopefully I can now get back to doing what I love best and thats designing so look out for more special cards..Thanks for your patients

We started to feed the birds again recently, we had actually stopped for a while due to living just off the railway banks and rats getting through a hole in the fence.
We got new fences so the bird tables could go back up.
And now the baby birds are about they need the food. However now we have a squirrel problem they seem to like the bird food and often empty the lot so there is nothing left.
We got Dolly on the case.
She doesnt like them and as you can see shes squirrel watching to make sure they dont return and when they do shes at the back door scratching to get out and chase them off.
I did find it funny her jumping up the window sills to see out of the window. It did make me smile. Now in the morning we open the doors onto conservatory and up she gets to check.

Couldnt resist showing you this beauty taken of course from RAF Lakenheath... Now lock down has eased its time to get out,, I have never felt so cooped up in all my life..
And I bet I am not the only one..Social distance at all times though I have to admit, I really dont want this awful virus..Weather has been so lovely for weeks as soon as we were allowed out I had to get out and too my fave place ..In fact I wasnt the only one there was loads of people out and about..
Traffic quite busy too which I really didnt expect, but I suppose after 10 weeks indoors you need some space to escape too..Hoping things start to look up now...see you next week

Dolly cant be left out of anything. She sits on Dads chair most of the time so she gets pampered all day long when hes here.
When hes not thats her seat just like the photo I got the letters for hubby and placed them on his chair arm so when he came down from upstairs he would look and read them.
Dolly got there first she did nothing but sniff them until hubby came down and moved themShe was most upset she didnt get the envelopes to Rip to sheads lolTake a look at my new mandala designs.

My local pond gave me a smile this weekRoughly 20 years ago we bought our eldest daughter some terrapins.
Wed never had anything like them before and really shouldve done some research.Anyway a couple of weeks passed with my daughter looking after her new pets when one morning we got up and they looked dead!
We left them for couple of days just to make sure. They didnt move do we presumed they had diedSo we did no more than hold a funeral in the garden and buried them.
A few weeks later we were told they hibernate lol.
So we rush home to dig them up. Well to our surprise theyd gone. End of story so we thought We live about a mile from our local common that has a big pond.
On Sunday me and hubby went to feed ducks and geese and to our horror saw this little head pop out of the water.
Is that our terrapin? Looked like it! I wonder if they escaped and found their way to the pond. Still smiling now writing this hahaha
