Here this week we have the GryX saker Falcon that keeps RAF Lakenheaths F-15 aircraft safe..He scares the other birds away from the runway hour by hour...The Gyr Falcon is the largest species of Falcon in the world and originates from around the Arctic circle. ...
He is almost black in colouration and shows the variation of colours that falcons can have. There is also Scratchy, a large Gyr x Saker of pale white and tan colouring which is the one you can see here..RAF LAkenheath bought it out on Wednesday to the forest entrance where I happened to be taking photos of the aircraft launching and landing..
It was huge and scary LOL.. His owners bought his lunch out too so this photo is actually of him with his lunch a Crow Oh he took large bits of the inside of the crow..
I didnt like watching to be honest but I had never seen anything like it before..I had just finished my Macdonalds Bacon roll too.. so didnt go down well with me hahahahahBut he keeps the metal birds safe when they launch and land so thats a good job he has..

Yes you guessed it I was at the fence this week.. Cold on some days and wet on others but caught this afterburner and the jelly just lovely.Crimson Warrior is on the go now do next week the Marines may take center stage..
They are working with all Airforce in the Norfolk region I was hoping for a glimpse when at Lakenheath but they didnt show up..
Rain kept them away I think.. the F15s were raging though as you can see

Caught this beautiful bird at RAF Waddington.. A beautiful Typhoon stationed at RAF Conningsby Lincs..Not very often I get to take shots of the Typhoons they are not my normal shots...
I havet been to conningsby for at least a year now but caught this one at a different base whilst on a visit. They dont excite me as much as the F15 ...
They dont seem to make a lot of noise like the Eagles do LOL..Probably be sometime before I can actually visit again now due to the virus spreading like mad..In fact probably be linited visits to anywhere at the moment...
I am sure I have loads of shots though you havent seen yet..I am out shooting most weeks However the last couple I have had to slow dow, due to getting about with the amount of people taking up the new hobby.Oh well another week has passed and we will soon be at Christmas..

Not very often do you see two F-15s coming into land side by side... these were caught recently by me doing just that!Im face one had an issue and his wingman saw him in.
Then full throttle out over the runway while the other landed to get tended to by his mechanics..It always amazes me how graceful they are in flight.
I suppose thats why they are called Eagles. The look like eagles when parked I think. And they always make me happy while watching them perform.. I call it my happy placeAnyway thats all from me this week. Short but sweet.
I have some beautiful new Luminarie cards in my store now that can be placed into shadow boxes or you can use as stand alone cards.
See you next week! Thanks for your continued support.

Just look at this beautiful fox! Yesterday Wednesday I heard the noises of foxes fighting or so I thought. I rushed outside to look as I have fox dens behind my fence in back garden. Two foxes were what looked like having a row lol. The noise was awful.
One decided it had had enough and quietly retreated into the woods behind.
The other sat looking like a Queen on the large log left from one of the trees felled after the bad weatherNot sure if male or female to be honest but looks like a Queen so Im saying female She sat there for 10 minutes and I just looked at her.
Then thought go get camera but then thought Id go and shed vanish! I got the camera and she was still there. She looked so peaceful.
