Its been a very long time away from the fence at RAF Lakenheath...
November was the last time I was there, what with another bout of covid and a bad back I havent been able to get there. But this week I did and what a delight it was too , to get out of the house for a couple of hours with my camera. The base was very busy after their weekend break and a extra day off Monday for Super Bowl headaches from drinking the day before LOL..The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day watching the jets, A little cold and misty to start but turned out to be a very rewarding day for me.Got nice and close to this PANTHER from 494th

Dolly looking so mischievous on the sofa! Shes really did a grooming session due to her fur growing so much over winter, Ive had to change her groomer and its not been an easy job.Our last one changed hands and Dolly has never come back looking the same once.
Im really disappointed so we had to search and I mean search for one that was going to do a proper job for the money they are asking, We have now found one hopefully and on the 23rd February she should be back to looking her pretty self.Lets hope so!!!!

Looking forward to spring summer now to get up close and personal to these once again!Heres me touching the business end of an F15 Fighter jet whilst its parked..This particular one is the one I actually stood on the top of.
I couldnt believe how big it actually was and how high it was too I havent been spotting for months now due to weather Christmas and my back problems, finding it hard to stand at the moment for long periods of timeBut it will soon be better then off Ill go !!

OH MY GOD!My boy came to visit me for his lunch, I took one look and said OMG out loud at him asking him what happened to his face!Oh he looked so sorry for himself really he did.
It looks like he has had a run in with another Fox Dog and I am presuming because its breeding time they are fighting for the Vixens attention.I am absolutely gutted to see his face injured like that, He also had a chunk out of his back fir, it looked awful,,, His face as you can see looked all swollen and the fir had gone on his left side of his face...He and the vixen he has been traveling with the last couple of weeks have returned along with another female which seems to be one of my cubs from 2020...Still Ill try to make sure he stays out of trouble from now on.

Yes all of my foxes are back, They just upped and went again and I thought thats it!!!But Tuesday of this week this little one returned, she was a baby of the year before, then her Mum arrived and then the Fox dog too.I was so excited.. so in I came got their food ready and off I went to bottom of garden to feed them, I thought maybe as they had been away they would be scared but nope!
Down they came and eat all I gave them. The fox dog also came a bit closer.. Hoping the cubs are brought to me too..
