So Cute!

Last Saturday it was our youngest granddaughter, Daisys 4th birthday. Her parents were throwing her a party in a hall, with all her friends and an entertainer, and we were invited as well.

Obviously, we couldnt take our Golden Retrievers with us, so our daughter Kelly looked after them for the day. Her new rescue Cookie, and Billy and Sam are still getting used to each other, but they were all very good, and as you can see from the pictures they were little angels when the treats came out!

Dont they look cute together?

Easter Bonnet

Today was Easter Bonnet Day at my youngest granddaughter Daisys nursery. So she helped her mum make her hat. Daisy designed it herself and Mum was a whizz with the hot glue gun. I think its beautiful. There are eggs and bunnies, a chick and even a carrot.

Oh and of course lots of Daisies! She even wore her princess dress for the occasion.

Shes A TEENAGER!

Last weekend, our middle granddaughter Imogen turned thirteen! I can hardly believe that she is now a teenager. Once again, I was looking through pictures to create a birthday collage and loved seeing all her sweet pictures over the past thirteen years.

Almost all of them feature her pulling her cheeky smile. It was so difficult to choose a favourite, but this one always makes me laugh. It was the day she was in a toy shop and stood on the shelf next to a doll the same size as her.

I know which one I would have brought home.

Old Photos

My older sister celebrated her birthday recently. Although we are only 15 months apart, she has always been the responsible one, while I was the mischievous younger sibling.

As I was creating a Birthday collage for her, I came across some old pictures of us together.

One of the pictures was taken when we were toddlers, sitting on our nans back doorstep. We all lived with our nan while our parents worked hard to save money to buy their first house and move us from the East End of London to a small village in the countryside.

These are some lovely memories.

Beauty And The Beast

Wow, I had a fantastic evening last Friday! I met up with my daughter to watch Jessica and Imogen perform in their school production of Beauty and the Beast.

It was a brilliant performance, and every child did an amazing job, but I am particularly proud of our girls.

Immy acted and sang her heart out as one of the Bimbettes, and Jess played the role of Mrs Potts perfectly.

She received a loud cheer when she took her bow, and her singing was absolutely beautiful. Her solo got a big round of applause, and both their nannies and their mum were in tears. Well done to our little stars!

Unfortunately, cameras were not allowed, so I only have a picture of the programme and a small headshot of the girls from an official photo shoot of the whole cast.

Look out for some pretty Mothers Day designs that I am uploading today, in time for Mothering Sunday.
