News & Updates from Mary Jane Harris · Page 2

My son and his fiancé (Gary & Halee) have set the date for their wedding! They are getting married in November 2015, only a few short months away. I am driving out to Illinois, from NY state, to be there when my future Daughter-In-Law goes shopping for her wedding dress.
I will be away for about 2 weeks next month. I am really looking forward to the trip, and being able to spend time with them. Halee is going to fly out to NY state and drive back with me since I have never made the trip on my own.
Here are two of my wedding sheets

After a long, cold winter, it is time to start thinking about the warm days ahead. Picnics and sunshine, family and laughter. Here is a picture of my son's dog, Harley... even she is smiling at the thought of those lazy summer days just around the corner.
Harley is purebred brindle boxer. She's like a big kid, she likes to run and play... and dig holes in the yard which makes mowing the grass difficult.
Use a bit of humor to brighten someone's day!

This has been an "Old Fashioned" winter. We used to get tons of snow when we were kids, but our winters had become very mild over the years.
This year (2015) has brought us a lot of extremely cold weather, and lots and lots of snow.
Although we have been warm and safe in our home, I'm glad that Spring is just around the corner. Here is a photo of our poor Japanese Maple tree all covered in ice and snow. I can't wait for the Spring flowers to start popping up out of the snow. Here are some cheery floral cards to make. They will help chase away the winter blues!

Sometimes life has a way of getting in the way of the things we really love to do. Unfortunately, that happened to me, and I had to take a 6 month's leave of absence from my design work for craftsuprint.
I have decided to start at the beginning, and re-introduce myself. My name is Mary Jane Harris, and I have been a designer for CUP for many years now. I am married and we have one son (he is 27). I live in the USA, but have traveled to London twice. I have also lived in Canada, and Israel.
I am so happy to be back designing for CUP, and my work can be found exclusively on this site.
I invite you to visit my pages, and have a look around. I hope you enjoy browsing through my sheets, kits, designer resources, and cutting files!

My husband gave me a beautiful bouquet of roses for Valentine's Day. Later he took me out to dinner and a show. We had a wonderful time!
