All Girls Together

Our granddaughters Lexie aged 8 and Skyla aged 2, stayed over at the weekend. We had a visit to santas grotto, and met some raindeers . Lexie loved the raindeers , but Skyla kept saying ooo smelly, and covered her nose .

We tried getting them to sit near them for a photo , but Skyla kept hiding her face. Lol. Fortunately there was a Santa and raindeer ride in the centre . These raindeers were clean , with no smell, so we managed to get a photo .

Head Shave Fundraiser For The Jess Lawson Memorial

Last year on a school trip , to France , our friends daughter ,Jess sadly passed away in a water sports incident .

She was only 12 years old.

Her parents are now fundraising for the Jess Lawson memorial, to help other families who lose a child in such terrible ,and sad , circumstances.

We are all doing our bit to help. Ive made and sold some cards , other people have done bike rides an collections .the photos are of my Brave friend Hev who has gone all out and had her head shaved.

He has raised over £2000 so far .

As you can see her hair was very long before it was shaved . She is one Brave lady, particularly in the British winter . Jesss favourite flower was the sunflower, bright and cheerful just like her x

Fun At The Fair

In October we took our granddaughters to to Hull fair. Its one of the largest travelling fairs in Europe, with rides stalls and games . Ive been going since I was a little girl, we took our children, and now were taking our grandchildren.

This year we videoed the girls on the rides . Now every time Skyla comes to visit , we have to play the video on a loop. As you can see she likes to stand and watch very closely . Its given us a break from cartoons though lol

Following In Family Footsteps

This is my youngest granddaughter Skyla having a colourful time painting. She is only just 2 years old , and is already getting involved with family crafting. Painting is her favorite at the minute as you can see from the smile .

We have to keep a close eye on her though .She is very mischevious and will add the paint to walls and furniture given a chance.

The dog keeps well out of the way too, he has been painted in the past. Christmas cards are the next painting projects to do
