My Tulips are in bloom. They are just beautiful. Double yellows were planted two years ago. Must have been the mild winter. We are a little late in Northern Iowa. This time next week they will be all gone.
Now its time to get the yard cleaned up, annual plants and get the garden in. Happy mothers day in the USA this week end.
This year I purchased an alto flute. Besides designing cutting file projects, I spend a lot of time playing my concert flute in new horizon band and both concert and alto flute in recitals, special music for church and a flute quartet.
This week I performed Sicilienne by Gabriel Faure on my alto flute in the Learn Flute Online recital. Wish I could post the recital line up of over 50 flute participants.I started taking lessons during COVID. As I progressed through my lessons I was given the chance to take group lessons, join the band and startup a quartet.
Music is just another art form that helps me in retirement to enjoy my spare time.
Its been over a year since Ive posted a new product. WOW where has Judy Henry been. Im glad to say Im trying to get back to designing popup cards after a fall last May on Mothers Day.
This landed me in hospital with a broken arm.
And of course it was my right arm.Ten months later Im trying to slowly get back to designing. Its not easy keeping up with technology! New computer and cutting machine is on its way to my house!
This means I wont have to struggle with outdated software and hardware but… the learning curve is going to be a struggle.Its been a while that Ive seen advertising in the newsletter for cutting files.
I hope you all will follow my journey into fresh new designs. Here are some of my favorites from the past.
Even though I have a broken shoulder, we made our City of lights Viking river cruise trip. We started in Prague, Czech Republic and ended in Paris, France. One highlight was the Rhine river travel through an area of many castles. We toured one castle that was over 50% restored.

I made the astronomical clock card many years ago. I thought it was unique. Recently we took a river cruise and made a stop at the Prague Astronomical Clock. Its really a beautiful clock with many more layers than my card. We also saw other clocks on our trip.
They would make a good retirement card too.
