Today my oldest Granddaughter, Bella is 6. I went over to their house in the morning to give her a present and card. After playing with the children for a while it was time for them to go.
They were going off for Bella and her younger brother Kieran to go horse riding. They loved it. After, they went to play in the play park. On Sunday she is having her school friends over for a special dinner. She had a great day. Happy Birthday Bella

Ive had a visitor from Scotland. She is a cardmaking friend and we had great fun. One day we decided to go into Birmingham City Centre to a warehouse from some craft bits.
As we came out there was a long queue of traffic the way we were meant to go. She has a great sense of direction so I believed that she would get us on the right road again.
That was not the way things went. We got lost. The place we went to was only 5 miles away.
At one point I had to get the sat nav out and it told me we were 7 miles away from home and to make matters worse it was now rush hour.
We did a lot of laughing cause as soon as I got my bearings a diversion would crop up and Id be lost again.
By the time we got home my husband had come home from work and made the dinner.
In all we had a great week doing lot of different crafting things

I put an request on Facebook for cardmakers to help me. Soon after a lady from Scotland answered my plea. Since then our friendship grew and grew. She and her husband came to Birmingham for a visit and the 4 of us got on really well.
Last October we went to Scotland and spent a week with them on their boat. On our first day we went into the sea at Inverness to see the dolphins. There were beautiful jumping and swimming under the boat. We took loads of pictures and it was the start of a lovely week. We sailed down the Caledonian Canal. The weather was amazing.
We sailed from Inverness to Fort William stopping along the way for the night. We had a fantastic week visiting a lot of different places along the way. We even took our little pup Abby. We have kept in contact chatting over the internet often. She has made a lot of my cards for me too.
She has come up for a visit and its great to have her here.

My eldest Grandchild Bella is the only one at school. Last weekend they has a school fayre to raise funds for the school. Last year they bought a set of drums, a guitar and amplifers. I went to help my daughter with the twins.
It was a wet day so it was inside. The hall was packed. My daughter took part in their Bake Off, they had to bake a decorate a cake. She also did one that she decorated with Diabetic Awareness. Bella is a diabetic. This was a dairy free cake.
Our 3 year old has alleries and dairy is one of them. Both cakes were done beautifully. It was the Picnic cake that she entered into the bake off. She started cake decorating in January on a Monday afternoon. She has come a very long way since then. Sadly there is not enough funds for a class to run a level higher.
Well Done Amanda!!!

While on holiday in Devon we visited a Miniture Village. It was really good. There were things in it that was quite funny. There was a lovely house with a garage and a car with the bonnet smashed up. Then the speaker came on.... you guessed it.
Dad my cars not working. There was the little boy with a tiny model car and remote. I was greatly attracted to the Millionaires Mansion. On the front lawn there were loads of special guests. Try zooming in to see who you can see, for example ABBA and Amy Whitehouse.
Such a great deal of work has gone into making these amazing dislays.
