This Westie is not as stubbon as mine. Abby is also very playful and makes her presence well known. The pictured Westie is totally amazing. Its a cake. Just look at the stands of fur all individually put on this beautiful cake.
I was nicely surprised when I saw it in a show. There were loads of amazing cakes but this one was closest to my heart. I love the dark round eyes and there were teeth in the Westies mouth. The ears were perfectly trimmed and there was not a hair in place. Cant say the same for Abby.

I went to my daughters to babysit the twins while the older two went to an organised event. The JDRF - Type 1 Diabetes Research Funding and Advocacy Group for this area planned a night with loads of different events.
They had great fun and got home at about 10.30pm.
Amanda had won a very big teddy cake on Guess the Weight. Her guess was 1lbs out and they wondered if she had previously made and weighed one as it was so close.
They knew she made cakes but she had never made it and she never weighs her cakes. The cake was absolutely lovely!

We tend to not really take allergies seriously. I expect this is because a lot of them are mild irratations. Anyone with a peanut allergy will tell you that a trace of peanuts could kill them.
Laws have changed now with all food making establishments having to know exactly what is in their goods so they can help people that suffer from allergies.
My Grandson Kieran suffers from allergies to soya, milk, eggs and wheat. Since he is only 3 we all have our fingers crossed that he will grow out of it. 2 weeks ago the family went on holiday and suffered really badly with his allergies.
The place they stayed there were traces of at least one of these products on the furniture. He suffered with fat eyes, face, neck and hands. What I didnt know is that he can suffer the effects of it for up to 30 days. He came home from Nursery early today and asked to go to bed as he felt so poorly.
Fingers crossed he grows out of it

Went to my daughters last Sunday. She was having a halloween party for the children. She made the most amazing cake in the shape of a pumpkin. The cup cakes had big eyes on them. They had decorated the room and it looked great.
The children and morphed into a skeleton witch, a zombie, a skelton and a very pretty witch that looked very cute with her hat on.
The kids had a great time playing different games with their friends. The food disappeared at a terffic rate. I never managed to get a cup cake, they looked so good. A great time was had by all of us

I think we should celebrate everything we can, as life can be hard and boring. Americans celebrate Halloween more than us but we are starting to catch up. The Grandchildren have been to a Halloween party at the nursery school that Kieran goes too.
They did all kinds of activities there including pumpkin carving, colouring and lots of different games. This witch and zombie had great fun. I thought Id write a poem to celebrate Halloween.
The air is thick its Halloween,Screeching witches flying high,Their faces smiling and all green;A mummy with a bloodshot eye.Everywhere we feel & see,Ghastly ghouls & big black cats,The shrieking sound of a Banshee,Flapping bats dance like acrobats. Our skin is cold we feel it creep,Our minds full of hostile fear,While deep inside our bodies weep,Its all cause Halloween is here.
