Paperbag Mini Album 2

I've been busy with a multitude of interests lately, but thought I'd share my 2nd Paperbag Mini Album that I created for my 2nd daughter, Chantelle's 21st last year.

I used inspiration from her love of dance, her current love of architecture and landscape architecture, which she is studying at University and her new found love of tea drinking.

I used the Graphics 45 " Botanical Tea" range as the base and added some tags and papers from Craftsuprint and Etsy.

I tried to incorporate elements and textures that are used in architecture and landscaping.

I added doors, windows, gates, and a house that opened up to showcase a few of her favourite photos from over the years and added a waterfall pull-out to add her photo's of architectural landmarks we visited in Europe in 2013.

In the photo here, I show the front cover, and the first couple of pages. It opens up to reveal the first page, with some tags tucked under the lacey strip on the LHS.

Below, it shows more hidden spaces, with the door opening up to further journalling explaining the inspiration. Also shows the pull-out tab that comes out of the paperbag centre compartment.

As you create it you can add photo's as I have done and leave room for the recipient to add Knick-Knacks of their own - or you could give them a blank one to do as they please or for the next phase of their life journey for a significant birthday.

The choices are endless and only limited to your imagination...give one a go. These are just a couple of the beautiful cards that are available for purchase from Craftsuprint - please check out my homepage for other items.

My Fascination With The Moon...

Of late I have been really fascinated by the different phases of the moon. As I previously submitted the photo of the red moon - this is a photo of the full moon I captured through the trees the other night, that I would like to share with you all.

I've also been getting clear shots of the crescent moon. Each night now, I take a look out the window to see what special shots I may be able to capture.

These cards are some of my favourites that I have crafted from the beautiful sheets available - please feel free to check out my homepage.

Crafting Another Mini Album...

Thought I'd share with you the next mini album I'm crafting. I'm learning a lot of different techniques, this time I just used cardstock to create my pages instead of the paperbags.

Most ideals on the internet get you to use the one colour as a base and I have trialled using a couple of different shades of green (mainly because I had that on hand) and toned it together with black.

I think it is coming together quite well. I am making it for my Step-Mum's retirement. I have mainly used the Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection - but I have incorporated a couple of papers from a Craftsuprint paper kit that coordinates.

I'm happy with the way it is coming together, since I'm running to a deadline and trying to get it finished within 5 days.

I have been trying out my Silouette Cameo for some different styling. Hope you like what I have done so far and that it inspires you to try making one for yourself.

Signs...

Since my Dad passed almost three years ago I have been seeing rainbows wherever I go. I take it as a sign that he is watching over me. I've never seen so many rainbows in life than I have in the past few years.

When on holidays in Tasmania I saw eight in one day, overseas in Europe one caught my eye and this beautiful one that spanned over my shed at home one morning when I was leaving for work.

I knew it was Dad, sending greetings for a lovely day. Just had to get a snapshot before I left. Just wanted to share it with you all.

Hope you all have an enjoyable day. xx These cards are some of my favourites that I have crafted from the beautiful sheets available - please feel free to check out my homepage.
