News & Updates from Hand Made Finished Cards By Dianne Jackson · Page 2

How time flies. Charlie is 9 months old now and nearly a full grown cat. He is already bigger than his mum, Mitzy, but I have been told male cats are bigger than females.
The vet says he is not too fat but we will have to be careful as he does love his food.
He is so cuddly and soft and now I can actually bend down and pick him up for the first time (after my recent new hips) he cannot escape from me.
I have been going into Town on the bus a few times for the first time in 7 years.
Before my new hips I could not even walk to the bust stop. I bring home the Metro newspaper and Charlie loves to tear it up. This keeps him happy all night as he will keep going back and having another go, but the print is rubbing off onto his lovely white fur.
He has just destroyed todays paper and now he is fast asleep on his favourite chair.I am showing 2 of the latest designs from my Sister, Cynthia Massey.
These centre panel easel cards are so simple to make but I think they look so effective. These are my 2 favourite ones

I was so delighted when my Sons cat had kittens. I got to choose from a litter of 4 and picked this gorgeous little chap called Charlie.
He is so loving towards us but as soon as we get any visitors he hides behind the settee and just will not be enticed out.
It is a good job we are having him as an indoor cat as he would be scurrying in at the slightest sound of a leaf rustle.
He is now 5 months old and we love him so much.
I have just recently had a complete hip replacement and because I cannot sit at 90 degree Charlie is slipping off my lap all the time.
Much to my dismay he now settles on my Husbands lap on an evening. I am missing that so much but I know he will be back once I can sit on a normal chair again and put my feet up.

I can't believe how 2 years has flown so fast. My Son took Amelia, my Granddaughter to see a show of her favourite TV programme called In The Night Garden and she loved it so much that she danced and clapped all the way through.
I thought she would be too young and just fall asleep, but she really got involved and everyone around was amused by her antics.
She went behind the scenes to meet the characters after the show and was not scared at all. I am showing one of my latest favourite designs by Marjike Kok and also an old design by Sandie Burchall that I love

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the designers who voted for me in the recent competition.
I was delighted to come second once again.
Thank you to all the designers weather you voted or not as you all come up with such brilliant designs, and a designer can only vote for me if I am on their list.
I would also like to say a special congratulations to Suzi Cooper for coming 4th place in all the 4 competitions that have run so far and do hope you make trophy status next time.
All the crafters on cup make great cards and we are all equal and unique in our own ways. Thank you also to Cup for such a fantastic site.
It just gets better and better with all the new changes. I am showing one of Carol Clarks latest carousel kits and also one of the new room with a view cards by Sue Douglas this time

Yesterday was our last monthly craft session of the year at Bramley Christian Church. I decided to give the ladies a snowflake project to do. This went down really well. These look great as a mobile in a window display. Cynthia Massey showed them how to make parcel flowers.
Everyone was so busy they only had time to make one card besides. I am showing one of Sandie's new designs this time, and also a cut border terrier by Tanya Hall
