News & Updates from Hand Made Finished Cards By Dianne Jackson · Page 5

I am so over the moon to come second in the Crafter of the year competition 2013 and I would like to say a very big thank you to all the designers who have voted for me.
I am really happy and it was such a close call once again. Lilac flowers exploding box and springtime pink Tulips are 2 of my top selling cards so I thought I would show these this time

I would like to thank Valerie Dawes for designing one of her latest puppies kits with a picture of Rocky, a very special little dog.
Rocky is half Jack Russell and half Patterdale (A Patterjack)and he belongs to my Son.
We look after him quite a lot and he is so adorable and sweet natured. I was hoping to keep him when Amelia, my new Granddaughter was born (August 14th mailer)as we did not know how he would react to a new baby.
But he has been really good.
When Amelia cries he gets one of his toys and brings it to her, and when she is having her bottle he runs out of the room because he is scared of the squeaking noise the bottle makes...he is so funny.
This card is for Jessica, my Son's partner. I hope she will like it. I just love these new kits of Valerie's

My card

I just have to share with everyone the very first picture of my new baby Granddaughter Amelia at just 5 hours old.
She is gorgeous and weighed 5lb 12oz. This is my second Grandchild. I have Luke who is 12 years old.
I am so happy to finally get my little girl after having had 2 Sons and a Grandson. I think she is going to be very spoilt. I wanted to send my Son and his partner an extra special card and I could not think of anything more impressive than a room with a view one from Sue Douglas.
These card are so amazing, they really do look extra special. This card has been admired by everyone who has seen it and it really stands out among the rest. This will be a keepsake for many years. If you have not tried one then you will be amazed at how easy they are to make too

I would like to say a big thank you to all the lovely designers who voted for me in the Cardmaker of the year competition.
I was so amazed to come first and when Cynthia rung me up to congratulate me I thought she was pulling my leg and I did not believe her.
I could not get onto the cup site fast enough to see for myself. I am absolutely thrilled with my trophy, it is so big, and I have it proudly displayed at the back of my 4 smaller ones on my fire place.
A huge thank you to all at Cup too for such a great site and for running these challenging competitions
