Butterflies 12x12 Backing Papers

Printed out 2 copies of the pale blue sheet. Then using some spotted embossed navy card I cut out a piece to fit a white 8 x 8 card leaving a narrow border and attached this to the card using d.s tape.

I then cut a wide piece of white card, 2 strips of the navy card and 2 strips of the backing paper.

I matted the backing strips to the navy strips using d.s tape and then placed them onto the white strip using foam pads.

I then attached this across the centre of the card using d.s tape.

Using Tattered Lace Pearl Doily Dies I cut one large in navy and one medium in white and matted them together using foam pads.

I placed this in the centre of the panels using foam pads. I then used the smaller die and cut out 2 in navy and 2 in white card. I matted the white on top of the navy and added these to the corners.

Using Tattered Lace sentiment dies I cut With Love in navy card and added this to the centre of the white die cut.

Finally I added some large white pearls to the centre of the flowers and top and bottom opposite corners. Using the 2nd sheet of backing paper trimmed to fit the card and the largest die in this collection I cut out the centre.

The white showing through this aperture can be used by my customer to write their own message. This is a lovely set of backing papers which I will be using time and time again.
