It's that time of year
When the winter snow will fall
On the birds and animals in the fields
Remember to feed them all

The world has turned white
Or so it would seem
It snowed overnight
Or is it a dream?

New home....new beginning.

Every happiness in your new home

I went out on a train today
We chugged along the track
We went down to the seaside
And then we chugged right back

The sales are nearly over
The stocks are running out
Soon new items will appear
Of that I have no doubt

I finished a good book yesterday
I've started another today
I love to read whenever I can
I can then get carried away

I want to get out in the garden
To tidy up the leaves
To dig the weeds
And sow some seeds
But the rain won't let me do it

We are at the start of a new year
We have started to make new plans
To go for walks, and lose some weight
So we look good when we have our tans

The bulbs are coming up
And the birds are beginning to sing
I am sure they are really singing
'It must be nearly Spring'

Another year has past us by
Where has the last one gone
The days fly by so quick
I sometimes forget to touch base,
You know i am always there
So my friend
Have a Very Happy New Year

The sun is shining brightly
The birds are singing loud and high
I'm getting out my sun shade
Because there's not a cloud in the sky

As Winter turns to Spring
And blossoms look their best
The birds begin to sing
And start to build their nest

At this time of year
I like a glass of cheer
I only have one glass of wine
And never a pint of beer

The weather forecast says
We're going to have deep snow
It may be deep, it may be cold
But to work I will have to go

Do you ever have a brain storm
And then it dies that day?
You suddenly get loads of ideas
Then they fade away
Oh dear, I must be geting old!

The robin hops admid the snow
Looking for crumbs and seeds
He doesn't require a store of food
Nature provides his needs

The postman brings us Christmas cards
He also brings us gifts
From relations and friends who send their love
As he wades through deep snow drifts

I went to the zoo last week
Tigers and lions I did see
Giraffes and a monkey
And a whole load of penguins
And seals that came from the sea

A cosy chat under a shady tree
Two better friends there never could be

Yes my dear friend that's you and me.

Tears of Joy come rolling down my face
Tears a Mother can only Know
The Baby I have so longed for is in my arms
Cute little Cherub, with a tiny pink nose
And a thatch of Black Hair
Tears of absolute Joy

Technology and me
Do not go together
I try to get to grips with it
But it seems to take for ever

I was strolling through the park
Enjoying the warm sun of May
I bought an ice cream
Sat down by the stream
And watched all the children at play

The birds are screeching in the sky
The crows are casting shadows
The seagulls soar up very high
Above the fields and meadows

I'm in the kitchen cooking
It always seems my turn
I wish all the others
Would make an effort and learn
