Let's fill the world with kindness,
Let others smile the whole day long,
A little good deed here and there,
It just helps the world along,
A smile, a word can mean so much,
To others who we may not know,
You might cheer them on their way one day,
It might pick them up if they're low.
So spread some joy and happiness,
As you go about your day,
It costs nothing but it can do a lot,
To chase the blues away.

Stop yourself from judging,
You don't know what they've been through,
What path they've walked to get this far,
Really, we have no clue,
What doors have been slammed,
Or blows have been dealt,
The many tears they may have cried,
Times they may have wanted to give up,
Perhaps, even wanted to die,
So before we condemn the guy on the street
Ridicule a person on dress or size,
Let's stop for a moment, take a breath,
Real sadness could be behind those eyes.

I'm so grateful to know you,
we're friends come what may.
You're a little ray of sunshine,
who brightens up my day!

There's little gems of memories,
Locked within my heart,
Of a love that I had many years ago,
But we had to part,
Often as thoughts take over,
And I walk down memory lane,
I think about this love once more,
Wondering if we'll meet again.

We hold much power,
You and I,
The words which we choose,
Can make someone laugh - or cry,
They can make us feel warm,
And wanted too,
They can make us feel appreciated,
Or can say - I love you,
We have been blessed,
With a wonderful gift,
Which is able to heal, advise or uplift,
So don't take them for granted,
Choose kind words to share,
For the world is a happier place,
When we speak words with care.

She's off to University,
You're filled with admiration and pride,

He's off to University,

His enthusiasm can't be denied,
Yet where have all those years gone,
Seems only yesterday he was your little boy,
Running round the garden, playing with his toys,
I know that you will miss him,
The joyful chaos that he's brought,
It's all tinged with a little sadness,
As now he must depart,
But he'll be back with many tales,
Of times with his new friends,
How he's managing to live his life,
Burning the candle at both ends,
But deep down he'll be very grateful,
For all the support and love you've given,
And it's due to that as he embraces life,
He'll be well and truly driven.

Foot on the peddle, I carefully tread,
Fabric ready, time to sew
Push down peddle, of I go,
To the rhythm, the fabric moves

Now to finish, with pattern stitch
