The sky is blue
The sun is gold
The birds are singing

The buds are opening

A new season has started
So has a new dawn

There are no explosions for you to worry about

Thank God you are safe at home with us
It's so good to have you here

They said there would be a breeze
And the sun would come out and play
But the breeze really shook the trees
And the leaves danced around all day

How pretty Autumn time is
With its colours of browns and gold
More colourful really than Springtime
When just greens are a sight to behold

At last the winds and rain have come
Our gardens need the rain
To help the winter shrubs to grow
So that Spring can spring again

The colours of the trees are changing
From green to gold and brown
Very soon when the winter winds start to blow
The leaves will come tumbling down

Now the children are in bed
I can now rest my weary head
Now the sun has gone to sleep
It's my time to relax instead

Children ask so many questions
Like why is the sky so blue
Or why is it that fish can't talk
I haven't a clue, do you?

The morning is silent and calm
a beautiful morning
but the morning is not complete
until i wish you
a wonderful day
may the sun always shine upon you

Winter is that time of year
When the garden plants are dead
But soon again, after their rest
They will rise again in their bed

Showers falling from above
Baby showers filled with love

Having a day by the sea
As the children dig in the sand
Other people just love to
Sit listening to the band

A stroll along the prom
Or fishing from the pier
Some folk like to relax and have
A dish of cockles and a beer

How quiet and tranquil it is
Sitting by the river
Watching boats go sailing by
I could sit there for ever

Sitting in the garden
Enjoying a glass of wine
Relaxing, but not for long
The family want to dine

Sitting silently by the river
Watching boats sailing by
I feel like drifting off to sleep
But No, it's time to go I sigh

Making cards and photographing
Oh what fun it is
Uploading them and hoping that
Your Homepage looks the biz

Trying to get from Bronze to Silver
I not really such a task
If you get in a muddle like I do
You only have to ask

The wine is red
The glass is blue
The mouse is drunk

Strawberries and cream

Down by the sea
Children dig in the sand
Boats sail in the breeze
People walk hand in hand

When twilight falls
And the day is done
I think of all the chaos
And also all the fun

I sit down with a sigh
And try to put my feet up
At last the house is tidy now
As I reach out for my teacup

How lovely to take a walk
Under a bright blue sky
The sun is shining
And the birds are singing
At last the weather is dry
