Dad I miss you
Sometimes my heart just aches
I wish we could be together more
One day - however long it takes

We have had advice and instructions
To stay home and stay calm
It's very sound advice
To keep us all from harm

But once this problem is behind us
And then we can at last roam free
We can walk and visit all we want
It's freedom for you and me

Before you start to moan
because you have to stay
inside of your home
HAVE A CUP OF COFFEE
and don't hang your head!
We need to keep each other safe -
it's merely for a while
NO REASON TO BE SAD

Walk through life
at your own pace
IT IS MEANT TO BE A JOURNEY
Don't turn it into a race!
Take a nap every time
when you feel like a wreck
After that - enjoy
A HOT CUP OF COFFEE
It'll get you
right back on track

Some days are harder than others.
The journey life can get rough.
No matter, what befalls you -
there’s no reason to scoff
as long as you have
these three essentials:
1. A CAT ON YOUR LAP
2. A FRESH CUP OF COFFEE
3. A HEART FULL OF LOVE

If parenting turns
into a challenging chore,
leaving you weary and tired

When you're feeling down and weary
When you're feeling sad
Remember those who are worse off
Then you realise life isn't so bad

When the weather is plain miserable
And you can't get out and about
Remember that when the sun shines,
You'll be out and about no doubt.

It doesn't matter what clothes you wear,
Or the colour of your skin,
We're all just made of flesh and bone,
Together we are kith and kin,
So share your love to all you meet,
Your smile can change a day,
Who knows what path anyone walks,
Be a light upon their way.

When I feel my burden is heavy,
And I need someone to care,
I call upon the compassionate one,
I offer my God a prayer,
My comforter he will always be,
I'll shelter under his wings,
His peace transcends my great distress,
A contentment now he brings.

For believe me and, I promise,

There's far better things on the horizon,

and you lead the way, you know;

Sharing the joys whatever the weather,
Sunny or raining we'll get through together,
There's always a rainbow that's high in the sky,
For we have each other, right by our sides,
We don't need umbrellas or wellington boots,
So it is snowing? We don't give two hoots,
Our love for each other makes us cosy and warm,
We'll cuddle together and weather the storm.

When life starts to get you down
Don't sit around wearing a frown
Get up, get out, and give a smile
Soon you will realise life's not a trial

Another year has passed
A birthday for you is in store
May you find this coming year
Be one with lots of open doors.
