Up Close And Personal

Just look at the close up of the F15 Strike Eagle, It was flexing over Nellis AFB, on the afternoon of 18th March, I just couldnt believe how close I go into the cockpit of that aircraft, Considering it was going at the rate of knots I am very surprised I caught it that close. They launched 4 at a time to do their sorties then returned and launched again, This went on for 4 days whilst we were there..

Lots more to show you but as I have just returned home I havent really had time to sort out all of the lovely shots I took..https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Nellis AFB Nevada

Just look what I caught in the frame as well as the F15 Eagle... The moon just at the top of the shot couldnt believe it when I was looking through my shots.. Oh my god there is loads of aircraft here.

They are on Red Flag Excercise for training the military. I have loads of shots but obviously I can only post one so this one stuck out for mehttps://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Cooking Class

Well here they are my beautiful granddaughters.. after cooking class .They baked chocolate muffins and they were delicious!

They do a class nearly every night after school now and this is just one of their past times. Both just cant sit still they have to be busy with something. and what better way to be, At least they will know how to cook which is a very good skill to have.

They both love to cook and the school kitchen is big enough for them both to have a go.I am off to Las Vegas this week for Red Flag at Nellis AFB so watch out next week for the military news..Dont forget Mothers Day is nearly here..

Red Arrows Visit

I had a visit to RAF Scampton last week, the home to the Red Arrow Display team.

Firstly I went on the heritage tour but whilst we were on the tour we could hear jet engines starting. The guides had already said that as it was such a lovely day the reds were most likely going to fly and if we heard the engines we could go down and watch..Oh dear!

That was the wrong thing to say to me, I just couldnt wait to get out the door LOL..

I was first on the flight line I can tell you, and it seem a real age before anyone else joined me hahahhaThis was red 8 on his return he decided to show off a little and continued to do a wheelie nearly all the way to the end of the runway!

He was naughty but I was really excited to be so close so it didnt really bother me.. I enjoyed every minuet of it, infact so much so they had to pull me away to go back to the tour!

Oh well roll on March I am off to NellisAFB for more jet noise!

Flypast For Tony Foulds

Well I was lucky enough on Wednesday to catch all 4 F-15 aircraft with the names honouring US airmen killed in 1944 and all aircraft would be used for this mornings flypast over sheffield along with aircraft from 2 other bases in the UK..4 of the F-15E s have the names of all 12 american airman that lost their lives that day. in Endcliffe park, One particular gentleman has fought for years to gain recognition for the fallen..

And today on the 22nd Feb 2019 he will get his wish.

He looked after the memorial for years and today marks the 75th Anniversary of the date they were killed.I am sure most kept upto date with the news on the TV ..I was priviledged to watch all 4 SrikeEagle Jets fly with the names painted on the nose of each aircraft.I should imagine it will be very moving today for all who attend..
