Well another visit to RAF Lakenheath this week.. Lots to see this week including the F35 launch back to HillAFB..

And the 492nd deployment left today Wednesday for Nellis AFB Red Flag...Then this launched out of Lakenheath to go back to Mildenhall as Milidenhall had work done last week on their runway..

Now they are back up and running so all aircraft can return this being one of their tankers.As you can see by the photo the boom is even showing which I have never seen .. thats the part that refuels for those that dont know.Looking forward to RIAT now next week.. some stunning aircraft visiting..All files here in all formats https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Well this week is something that flies but not a jet aircraft LOL.Yes I was at Lakenheath when I spotted this little critter, I zoomed in and got all her details.

You can see her little mouth and even her teeth is looks like.There was loads flying about everywhere, I opened the car door and in they flew hahhaha..

Not sure if there was something that had upset them somewhere but I couldnt believe how many there actually was flying about whilst we were there.I dont know a lot about Ladybirds , In fact I havent seen one for quite sometime so I was a little surprised how many there was..Oh well I suppose there was a reason but I dont know what..https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Well here they all are lined up ready to vacate the Eagles nest! Another day another dollar at RAF Lakenheath this week..

All lined up ready to launch, Just waiting on their final checks so they can taxi to the runway ready to go.I found this week they have started to low fly in the lake district instead of the Mach Loop due to weather not being very good down in Wales..

But to be honest I dont mind where they fly as long as I can catch the launches and landings at my favorite place..Not sure whats going to occur next week as they are shut for the holidays ;-(Anyway thats all from me this week..

We traveled to London Last weekend, By train to see some sites and places I hadnt been to since I was at school.

My husband and I and our eldest Daughter and her husband and the twins decided to have a mooch round what I wanted to see.The girls are studying Greece at school now so they wanted to see all the Greek history and coins so we did that first, and as we went round we came across the Egyptian rooms, I have always been interested in Egypt and the history so we took some time to look around at what I missed on the school trip all those years ago...

I was always talking as a child so I never saw half of what I went to see on school trips hahaha we were always mucking about and missed it all.We came to to Mummy Room which I have always been so interested with, it amazes me how to this day they are still in one piece, I had to go see them it was so scary I think that there was actually a person under those clothes wrapped around them.Although I wanted to see them I also think that really when you die and are in your finale resting place you shouldnt be dug up for people to look at you...Yes I wanted to see them but they shouldnt really be there.. you just dont get buried to be dug up do you?

Although its history and amazing they had all that knowledge so long ago to preserve the body.. I even saw a person with hair.. laying in a burial chamber well in a round of stone should I say..

He was still a person black with age but a person...

I came out feeling rather emotional to be honest that these poor people had been lifted from their resting place..

Oh and yes thats the famous F15 I keep going on about .Taken on a recent visit at Lakenheath, I got another private invite to take shots of all 3 Heritage aircraft together, But couldnt resist getting a shot of my fave jet with me standing beside it.Not very often that happens as your not normally allowed so close.

But on this particular day we were allowed so I got my dream well part of it, The other is to sit in one..Maybe next time
