Hi, you may have noticed my shop has been a bit slow in showing new items.
I had grand kids all summer long.I also have booked a South American cruise and since internet is not so good on these ships for uploading pictures I will not be creation much new cards.Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Healthy new year and thank you for considering my creations.The picture is from my trip to New Orleans where I used to live and enjoyed the food and music.
On our last trip to Australia we found this unusual camper we have never seen before.We live in a 35 feet Camper full time so we always take a walk around the RV parks to see if there is something new.Especially since our RV company when out of business and we cannot get another one we own.This look realy like a great Caravan for a single or couple for a nice weekend getaway or a sunny place where you can sit outside.
One of the highlights of our past winter travels was the great ocean road.he Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243 kilometers (151 mi) stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford.
Built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932 and dedicated to soldiers killed during World War I, the road is the worlds largest war memorial.
Winding through varying terrain along the coast and providing access to several prominent landmarks, including the Twelve Apostles limestone stack formations, the road is an important tourist attraction in the region.The Great Ocean Road starts at Torquay and travels 244 kilometers westward to finish at Allansford near Warrnambool, the largest city along the road.
The road is two lane (one in each direction), and is covered by a speed limit changing between 50 kilometers per hour and 100 kilometers per hour.Yes I did take these pictures :)We drove 9500 km in 49 days in Australia last winter
The Koala Hospital consists of a treatment room, 8 Intensive Care Units, 6 outdoor intensive care units and 33 rehabilitation yards, many of which have trees for koalas to learn to climb as part of the rehabilitation process.
On my visit to Australia we visited this lovely place.
It is not only a Hospital to treat sick and injured koalas but it is also involved in research with University Sydney, University Technology Queensland and the Australian Museum into koala diseases.
Between 200 and 250 koalas are admitted through the Hospital annually.
Apart from Chlamydia, motor vehicle accidents and dog attacks are the most common cause of injuries sustained, predominantly during the breeding season.The Koala Hospital established in 1973 is an activity of the Koala Preservation Society Australia Incorporated.he Koala Hospital is a licensed Wildlife Rehabilitation Facility carrying out on-site procedures.
All procedures and treatments are done at the Koala Hospital except for major surgeries and X rays which are undertaken at the Port Macquarie Veterinary Hospital.A koala can climb a tree expertly with considerable speed when necessary.
On the ground they are also capable of reasonable speed over short distances.Koalas sleep approx. 18 hours out of 24.
This is an evolutionary strategy to conserve their energy as the eucalypt leaf is so low in nutrients/energy value.Koalas eat at all times but mostly in the early morning and early evening and during each day consume approximately half a kilogram of leaves

Both wheel sets on each trailer could steer, and therefore could negotiate the tight and narrow tracks and creek crossings that existed throughout Central Australia in the earlier part of the 20th century.
