Today is February 14th, Valentines day. The day we celebrate our partners and those we love. I was very lucky to get 24 beautiful red roses from my lovely partner, and I had to share them with you all.

I am very lucky with flowers this time of year, Its my birthday, then valentines, day, then mothers day! Am blessed with blossoms x

I love the run up to spring, the snowdrops in the verges, the splash of colour from pansies and primroses.

Its also the time that the supermarkets start selling bunches of daffodils.

I always keep some in my house, replacing them as they go over. this is the first bunch of the season for me.

It signals the promise of warmer weather, tweeting birds and longer days ahead x

My beautiful daughter Megan got married the day before new years eve, to Cameron. The day was perfect for December, 12 degrees and sunny. The wedding was in a small chapel that had been converted into a registry wedding venue.

It was a wonderful ceremony, lovely food at the reception, and much alcohol flowing after!

Well now I feel Christmasey! We put our Christmas tree up today, and it has put me in a really festive mood. It is tradition every year that the film Polar Express gets put on while we are creating the tree.

It is a huge tree, at least five foot across the the base. I build it, it has separate branches and takes a while to build. My daughter then adorns the lights and the baubles. The colour scheme is gold and copper, and it has many many owls on it!

I woke up this morning to torrential rain and wind, lovely. I sent my son out to school with his brolly up, but when I left the house 15 minutes later, the sun was shining, and this beautiful rainbow greeted me just as i stepped out of the door.

A lovely thing to see at anytime, but especially first thing in the morning. It set me up for the day!I have seven new bumper kits coming out today and tomorrow, and they will all be put on discount as soon as they go live x
