On Sunday 1st September, my husband and I celebrated 40 years of marriage. We had a celebration night on Friday 30th August at a country club near our home and invited lots of family and friends.

My daughter organised a photographer to document the evening as a present from a lot of family and friends who all contributed to the cost.

We both thought this was an excellent present and we have just received the cd of the photos.

I have chosen the one in this report as it shows me, my husband (Doug), daughter Cheryl far left with her husband Rick and our two wonderful grandsons, Liam and Thomas and our son Alan next to me with his partner Carrie.

The whole evening will be remembered as a sea of smiles and laughter and will live long in our memories.

I enjoyed is so much I feel like booking our 50th Anniversary now!!!
