Jack Frost on my Window by Judith Henry

Sometimes we just miss natures artwork. This is my window art painted by Jack Frost. Yes, I had the humidity high in my house while fighting a sinus cold and it was -26 outside. I stayed inside running from one window to another snapping pictures thinking how wonderful these would be as scrap paper for a Christmas card. We arent thinking about winter anymore so maybe Ill use them next year but there is a lesson learned here that nature in itself can come up with some of the most wonderful designs.

These are two of my newest popup cards that can be used for many occasions. Add an embellishments such as lights, firework backgrounds or a Sassy Cheryl clip art. Hope this gets your imaginations going.

My Little Budding Astronaut

by Janice McFarlane

My 4 year old grandson Alfie asked for a telescope for his main Christmas present from Santa, and he certainly has put it to good use. He was over the moon (no pun intended) once his daddy had set it up outside for him, and he was able to see the moon close up. Not only that but he also saw Venus, although not as clear as the moon. So he could reference and knew what to look for, he had his book all about space with him to refer to. Each night he has been out, he has dressed for the occasion, by wearing his new astronaut suit, although, as it was cold, he put his mummys ear muffs on. After such an exhausting evening, he fell asleep with his space suit on.

Happy New Year everyone. Here are a couple of my newest Popup Box Card kits. Im Stuck on You and Hogs & Kisses. Thank you for looking.

End Of An Era by Robyn Cockburn

Each year we attend a management team dinner with Pauls co-workers. It has been a lovely tradition to catch up with people and review the year just gone. Last nights dinner was a landmark though - the company is being restructured and in their wisdom the powers that be are dismantling their most effective management team. Some of the team members are taking early retirement, others are moving on to new jobs. The Chief Information Officer, overall team manager was presented with this amazing caricature portrait of the whole team. The artist has captured their likenesses so well! Hopefully we will all get together in a years time to see what everyone has been up to.

Offset panel pyramid designs with a feature image silhouetted between leafy corners. Very easy to make. A variety of greeting labels is supplied making these designs suitable for many occasions.

Ginger Sponge Cake by Diane Furniss

Well over the Christmas break we caught up the family, and my Nieces mother in-law was asking me if I had ever baked a ginger fluff cake. No I said Ive never even heard of it before, but I would like the recipe as I love baking. Sorry she said but its an old family recipe and I wont pass it on. Well when I got home I though Im going to find one online and so I do. Here is my effort.

New Years Eve by Sue Way

On New Years Eve Kelly, her hubby and our granddaughters came to ours for a sleep over. We had a lovely Chinese takeaway, followed by lots of TV. It was a very relaxed affair after a hectic Christmas. Jess made me laugh, as she said she had worn a dress just for me, as on Christmas day they turned up in their new Super Hero costumes that Father Christmas had brought them, then they changed into their new onesies for the rest of the day! Although they looked cute on Christmas day, I thought they looked so pretty in their dresses on New Years Eve so took this lovely picture of them in front of the tree with their Golden Retriever Baxter. May I take this opportunity to wish all our lovely CUP customers a Happy New Year! Please see my latest designs below and thank you for clicking on the follow button under my name on my shop front, so you never miss an update. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Happy New Year everyone by Patricia Platt

I want to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. I dont normally do resolutions, but this year I will have at least two. My first is to get fitter and loose a bit of weight in doing so. We have already started here by going for long walks with Millie. I did a 2 mile walk the other day and only had a bit of pain in the last bit before we got home. For me this is really good, as I suffer with Plantars Fascitis. My second is to do more knitting and crocheting for my charities. Which again I have been busy already doing. :) This months theme for Knit A Square is toys and I love making toys. So I have made some teddy bears, a cuddle bug and some monkeys for the children already. I find my fingers get sore after a while of knitting as I am not used to doing knitting. So when that happens I switch over and do crocheting. Nice to be able to do both. :)

Owls! by Anne Lever

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a very owley person. I love them. I have owls everywhere, bags, cushions, clothing etc. I had some wonderfully owley christmas pressies this year. The twins at the back are microwavable. They heat up and smell of lavender. Perfect for the freezing cold evenings we have been having recently!

CUP full of crafts by Kathy Ann Stone

When I joined CUP it was a new adventure for me, and to be honest, a little scary. I design and make so many things, not just card kits and sheets. I also make Miniatures in a variety of materials and mediums, I am an artist, I draw, I paint, I collage and I turn people and subjects into fabric. I also work with Clay and love fashion design fashion. also as prototypes for my stories. I have made many items using wood, Basketwork as well as peg art. Over the years I have compiled all that I have done into catalogues. I have taught my art, had exhibitions worldwide and have been offered amazing commissions and jobs, some of which I could not accept for various personal reasons. I strive for perfection in everything I do, so consider myself a master of all my crafts. Having said all that, I never attended any school as a child, nor did I go to any college, I am completely self taught in all my skills. So, I got to where I am today and never really put myself out by offering any of my items for sale. I would have been happy to continue that way, filling warehouses and storage areas with my makes,.......But life took a turn for me, and not in a good way!. As a result of this I decided to put all that I have out there to help raise funds from my work in order to save the life of the man I love and married. (long story).

I now have over 700 items uploaded onto CUP, not many compared to some I know, but I am working really hard to get it all loaded.

CUP is an amazing website, it reminds me a little of one of my mystical adventure stories, one where there is something going on at every turn of a page. CUP is an amazing world of live fantasy, made up of so many amazing, talented and creative residents :)

Please support this website all that you can, by stopping to buy from any of the great artists and designers here. and maybe drop by my gallery and see If anything I have is of interest to you. One of my pictures shows one piece of my art and the other shows my very first Card making kit.
