Buds N Blossoms Keepsake Treasure Box Card Kit

I printed out all 8 pages and this one I cut by hand. I usually cut on my Silhouette Portrait, using pixscan, but if the edges of the design are light coloured they do not trace well.

The other alternative to cutting my hand is to draw around edges that have to be cut. I then glue all pieces, small boxes, lid and base, and decopauge layers. For the decopauge layers I use foam mounting tape and the main pieces are adhered with High Tack double sided tape.

This is my second attempt at making one of these beautiful keepsake boxes and I have to admit I did much better this time.

In fact, it was almost easy to do! I printed the design onto good quality white card and cut out all the elements.

I followed the instructions to a tee and finally added the greeting and a little of the supplied decoupage. I put the bow together using a flower brad and then glued the whole thing to the top of the box.

I am very proud of it and can't wait to see how it goes at the craft markets.
