Celebrating our first wedding anniversary! by Sarah Edwards

Its an exciting week for me as Im celebrating my first wedding anniversary on the 16th August! My lovely husband James and I got married a year ago in a beautiful converted barn on the outskirts of Bath. To celebrate, were off to the cinema and out to dinner at our favourite restaurant. Its also a doubly exciting week as Ive uploaded my first craft sheet to CraftsUPrint in almost a year! Its great to be back in the CUP community and I look forward to catching up on everything that Ive missed xx

Here are some of my current favourite designs for you. Just look at the beautiful purples!

A lovely family day. by Sue Way

Every school holiday, my sister, mum, daughter, niece and me try to meet up for a girly lunch. Now we have my two granddaughters too and my little great nephew is the token male. Today we wandered over to the local carvery for lunch, then took the children on the beach. The children played so well together and Jessica seemed so grown up looking after little Jacob. We laughed at Jacob eating a big roast dinner including a Yorkshire pudding as big as his head! I got some great shots of the day and as my niece is a photographer she took some beautys including this lovely one of them reading a book together. It was lovely to catch up with my family and I cant wait till we do it again. Here are a couple of my latest designs. Dont forget to click follow next to my name so you never miss my updates and thank you to everyone who follows me.http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

You Just Never Know by Patricia Platt

I am one of those types of gardeners that if a plant wants to grow it will and if it doesnt then try again another time. We have several hanging baskets growing in the garden and some half baskets too on walls and fences. This year we have a sunflower probably thanks to the birds that has decided to grow in a half basket. I had to keep Brian from pulling it out, and now I am glad I did. :) It has really turned out bright and cheery.

Lots of various 3 inch boxes. Great for small gifts, sweets or cupcakes. Birthdays, Christmas, Get Well, Thanks, Halloween, etc.

How Many! by Tina Fitch

Oh the girls went Strawberry picking on Tuesday, how things have changed over the years. We used to pick daily but not many farms give you the option anymore, Something to do with Health and Safety... mmm I wonder if thats because we ate more than we picked and paid for hahahahah..The girls loved it, Picking from the table tops , no insects like there was when we picked from the floor, There was an abundance of them too, I dont think anyone would notice if you had a few there was so many just hanging just waiting to be picked, The girls as you can see picked a few but also put loads in their mouths to sample LOL....All files in all formats here and I have new designs this week.. http://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

The Hungry Caterpillar by Anne Lever

We have three young twisted willow trees in pots in our garden, and they are all coming along nicely, at least they were..... I went out yesterday to find disaster! One of the trees was completely covered in tiny caterpillars, who had munched through all of the leaves, every single one! The pic on the right is what the plant is supposed to look like, the pic on the left is what my poorly plant now looks like, and the pic underneath is what the little......blighters look like! Hurumph!

Going Back To School by Janice Shehan

Here are 2 of my 3 beautiful grand daughters on their first day back to school. They are terrific students and love to learn and be with their friends! This past summer was a visit to Disney World, here in Florida USA! All the girls are very computer knowledgeable, thank goodness their parents are able to keep up with them.

The Guardian of the Gate by Janyce Cotterill

We have been out and about this week, enjoying the final weeks of summer weather in the UK and came across this little fella who kindly allowed me to take his photo of him guarding the castle gate. He was really enjoying his visit to the castle with his family, as we were. Ill post more photos of our visit in the coming weeks but I felt this little knight deserved a picture all to himself! Keeping on the themes of castles Im leaving you with one of my castle themed sheets and one of my latest designs from my Sometimes.....range of sheets, both of which are great ones for the guys! Thank you for your interest, I hope you like them.

Visit to Crathes Castle by Mary MacBean

My daughter and I went to visit Crathes Castle in Aberdeenshire last weekend. The 16th century castle and its extensive grounds are run by the National Trust for Scotland. I love poking about in old buildings, so this in itself was a treat for me. The walled garden was huge and beautifully maintained, The photo shows how peaceful it was - or rather how peaceful it would normally be. It just happened that we arrived at the same time as the winning car in the Scottish Rally Championships, Grampian Stages. The whole afternoon was punctuated by the sound of the rally cars arriving at the finish in the castle grounds. Not what we had expected, but it added a whole new layer of fun to our day out. We finished the day by driving home through the Cairngorm National park, rather than by the main roads. The scenery was magnificent, but the road was pretty challenging in parts.

Fun Day And Carnival Time! by Kelly Barker

Last weekend was yet another busy one for us and we were lucky enough to have some more beautiful weather to go along with it. Recently my daughters both danced in their annual showcase with their small dance group and over the weekend they got to perform one of their dances at a local village fun day. My eldest daughter Jessica who is eight also helped out with the little tots dance, to make sure they went the right way and so they had someone to copy. I was so proud of her as she was so nervous performing in front of everyone, but she managed a big smile throughout the whole thing. I was also very proud of my youngest Imogen who is five, she takes it all in her stride and is a bit of a diva. After the fun day we headed over to my mum (CUP designer Sue Way) and dads house for some dinner and to watch the carnival. It was a really fantastic day and we were certainly worn out by the time we got home. I have still got lots of lovely items on special offer, including some fantastic backing paper sets with 25% off.

Almost Spring! by Robyn Cockburn

Weve had gorgeous weather in the last week. Still a little coolness to finish off Winter but such glorious blue skies. And many trees are starting to flower. My gold and pink grevilleas are attracting lots of birds - including the Blue-faced Honey Eater in the photo. The wattle tree is starting to look fabulous with all of its bright yellow flowers (I found out the other day it is related to mimosa which I think many of you in Europe and the UK are familiar with). So Paul and I have mulched most of the gardens - ready for a burst of growth!I hope you like my latest 5x7 shabby chic designs!
