Festive Friendship by Janyce Cotterill

One of the many things I enjoy about being part of the Craftsuprint community is the friendship I have found from a worldwide community. This photo shows some of the hand-crafted Christmas cards I have received this year. They are made even more beautiful because, three of them are from cup friends I have yet to meet. We keep in touch in various ways, not only by normal posting methods but also by the wonders of the tech age we live in, and of course social media. This Christmas we will have an empty chair at our table on Christmas day. Like many others, I am sure, who have lost loved ones this year, it can be an emotional and difficult time for many. So keeping ourselves busy is often the key, doing a little something we enjoy often helps and this is where I find the cup website invaluable. There are so many things to enjoy on this vast site. From viewing and commenting on other peoples craft work, to games, verses to read and use, videos to watch and so much more. I hope you all have a memorable Christmas, for all the best reasons, and manage to share it with those you hold dear.

If its challenging time for you, remember the cup website is open all day every day. Take advantage of it, its free ! A massive thanks also to all the staff at HQ, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make this such a great website and super place to be a member of. May I finish with a thank you to everyone who has taken an interest in my work during 2018, used or read any of my verses and bought any of my design work. It is very much appreciated. Merry Christmas and a very happy and creative New Year to you all.

Clearing the cobwebs! by Rachael Dunne

Last weekend was my works Christmas do. It was over in Macclesfield which is a way away from where I live. The lovely people I work for paid for the whole night so myself and my partner treated ourselves to a hotel stay and went for a lovely long walk to clear our heads the following day. Teggs Nose country park is where we went walking. The view was fabulous from up there, on a clear day you can see as far as the Liverpool cathedral! It was a bit overcast so we didnt but it was still a lovely walk.

Thanks for taking a look at my new designs and hope you have a lovely, crafty Christmas! Xx

Picture Perfect by Sue Way

I love this picture on my granddaughter, 7 year old Imogen with our pup Billy. It is extra special because she was afraid of him at first and it still a little nervous when she first come in and he is really excited. But Billy is a typical Golden who loves children and absolutely adores Immy and follows her everywhere, so he has won her over. She loves him very much too as you can see.

This week I have been adding the last of my Christmas designs for this year and I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my customers a very Happy Christmas and peaceful new year. See you after the festivities! http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

First Birthday by Vicki Avcin

On Wednesday it was our youngest grandchilds first birthday. As the family live about 1200klm away from us we couldnt be there but Clay had an fun time with lots of cake and friends who came to his little party on the previous Saturday. His mum made him two cakes, his real cake and a smash cake. I dont get this cake smash thing but it seems to be very popular here at kids parties. It is a cake that is made specifically for the young kids to just smash into with their hands and ultimately get covered in icing and cakes as well as anyone close enough for the child to reach for. Clay was ably assisted by his older sister Bella who encouraged him. Because he is still breastfed and as his Mum puts it……. he likes the booby…. Guess what his smash cake was! We had to post his present but he didnt open it on the Saturday, instead his parents made him wait till his actual birthday. I made his card, as I do for all the grandkids, and it is in the design of my new designs coming up shortly.
