Looking for Bugs! by Carol Clarke

What a difference a week makes. After last weeks photo where 3 year old Austin had fallen and bloodied his nose this week sees him back to his normal happy smiling self! Clumber Park was our destination once again and one of the activities laid on for the Easter Holiday was a Bug Hunt. Wed got 3 of our grandchildren with us this week, his older sister Olivia whos 5 and one of our older granddaughters Stephanie whos 15 and off we all set off looking for bugs. Bless him Austin didnt quite get the right idea about using his magnifying glass but he did have a lot of fun with it! lol Below are 2 of my NEW DIDDY DINO Boxes. Watch out for More Coming SOON!

Great Ocean Road Australia by Silvia Griffin

One of the highlights of our past winter travels was the great ocean road.he Great Ocean Road is an Australian National Heritage listed 243 kilometers (151 mi) stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Allansford. Built by returned soldiers between 1919 and 1932 and dedicated to soldiers killed during World War I, the road is the worlds largest war memorial. Winding through varying terrain along the coast and providing access to several prominent landmarks, including the Twelve Apostles limestone stack formations, the road is an important tourist attraction in the region. The Great Ocean Road starts at Torquay and travels 244 kilometers westward to finish at Allansford near Warrnambool, the largest city along the road. The road is two lane (one in each direction), and is covered by a speed limit changing between 50 kilometers per hour and 100 kilometers per hour.Yes I did take these pictures :)We drove 9500 km in 49 days in Australia last winter

Also just uploaded over 6 Male cards :)

Spring Ouessant Lambs by Hilary Hallas

Here is a picture of one of our new lambs with his mummy. All three of our Ouessant ewes have successfully produced lambs this year and theyre all little boys! We werent so lucky last year as one was stillborn and we lost the other two, we think to a fox. This year we are being extra vigillant keeping an eye on them and putting them away in the barn at night. They are just so cute and it is lovely to watch them playing together. It is rather a noisy time though as the mothers are constantly baaing their heads off whenever their respective lambs move out of their line of sight. Ouessant sheep are native to Brittany where we live, they are a small variety of sheep so we dont keep them for the meat but for keeping the grass down in the fields and garden attached to our cottage. They are really friendly and come when called and take food from our hands.

Here are two of my recent Cookie cards, designed using MarloDee Designs designer resources and they are both currently on offer!

Nutty Nanny! by Sue Way

So last week I shared some pictures of Imogens birthday party taken with the party characters. Well to have their pictures done, all the children had to line up, then take it in turns to pose with Stuart, Ariel & Poppy. Imogen, as the birthday girl, was first in the queue, but naughty nanny jumped in front of her. She is used to her nutty nanny doing things like this so it made her laugh. I am crazy about fairies at the moment so, along with my new tooth fairy packs, I have added these pretty fairy themed mini kits to my store. Thank you for looking and dont forget to check out my special offers. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

Royal Navy by Tina Fitch

Yes this is another aircraft post lol, I just cant help it.. designing is taking a back seat whilst I brush up on my photography skills..This again was from Red Flag Nellis AFB back in March this year..The Boeing F/A-18E and F/A-18F Super Hornet are twin-engine, carrier-capable, multirole fighter aircraft variants based on the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet. Its was one of my favourite aircraft of the exercise to be honest.. I love my F15s but this really did take my eye and it flies so gracefully..All files in all formats https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/

Grand-daughter finds large fairy door! by Gaye Robinson

My beautiful three and half year old grand-daughter having an Easter day out on Sunday and going on a hunt and finding a rather large fairy door! I am slowly getting her into crafting and looking forward to her visiting next week for a couple of days when I have lots of crafting goodies for her to try out.

Swimming with the manatees... by Janice Shehan

Several miles from my home is a breeding ground for manatees, also known as sea cows. Crystal Springs, Florida, USA, which has the largest concentration of manatees worldwide. About 600 manatees visit the Crystal River springs each winter. The springs are beautiful and always just the right swimming temperature, for the manatees and people too. My daughter is visiting with me from Pennsylvania and Im surprising her with a trip to swim with the manatees and delicious fresh seafood dinner! The Crab Plant Restaurant serves the most delicious grilled salmon Ive ever tasted. Shes going to be so surprised and happy!

Move over Paul Hollywood! by Janice McFarlane

My Daughter and my eldest Grandson Alfie, were doing various activities at home during the Easter holidays, as the weather had been shocking most days, I cant remember an Easter quite like it. Keeping a 6 year old occupied and also having a 10 month old baby is exhausting, so while Harry was having his nap time, Kayleigh and Alfie decided to make some chocolate cookies. Once cooked and cooled they were a definite success, and they couldnt wait to tuck in. My daughter especially likes a cup of tea and a good dunking session. Harry on the other hand once awake, had other ideas, and decided to test a cookie for texture, taste and to make sure there were no soggy bottoms. To enjoy the experience fully not only did he use his mouth and new teeth to ensure the taste and texture was correct, but his whole face needed to be covered for final approval. I think we can safely say Kayleigh and Alfie got star baker, and by the look on Harrys face he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Move over Paul Hollywood!!!

Bells Paddock by Carol Dunne

I have written about Bells Paddock before. Kindly donated be Mr Bell in the Victorian era to the local community to add green space to the city. It changes so much in the spring time. At the beginning of the year it was snowdrops, then the crocus came , now it is the beautiful daffodils. Such a lot of colour over a few months. It is only a corner of green space but I am sure Mr Bell would be very proud if he could see the amount of pleasure this small piece of land brings.

LIFE IS SHORT HAVE A DESSERT by Wanda Lipski

I spotted this uplifting design recently in the South of France. It translates as LIFE IS SHORT HAVE A DESSERT. I so totally agree with the sentiment I had just had to share it with all my CUP friends. The memory of the short trip stays with me and the sunshine, as I stare out at another chilly, grey day. Hope you enjoy these two offering from my latest uploads. They are part of a series of 8 so look around for your favourite colour/flower. ENJOY !

After the Rain by Vicki Avcin

Well it is supposed to be Autumn now in Australia but still Mother Nature isnt behaving. Weve had a month of good rain especially with Tropical Cyclone Iris wandering around up and down the Queensland coast. The grass is thick and plentiful and very green (in fact you can mow it today and in 5 days time have to mow again if you can as the ground is still waterlogged) and the plants are flowering in abundance, which is supposed to be a Spring thing!! Even my roses are blooming well. Weve had some very welcome visitors too that weve not seen in a long time……some beautiful green frogs. We have 2 that have been visiting every night and just sit waiting for bugs, although they do have to vie with the geckos for the bugs. One likes to sit on a window or wall, the other likes to sit under my chair out the front. It must feel secure because it doesnt bother to move when we go out and sit down. The nights are starting to cool now and autumn looks like its finally turning up with the cool nights but the days are still on or above average for this time of year at last. And finally we have had a few consecutive days of sunshine. The photo is of some of the flowers in our front yard this week which include Gerbras, Hibiscus, Crocus, Sunjewels, Duanta Erectus, and Lady of the Night.
