Chihuhuas On Tour! by Amy Perry

A few weeks ago we ventured to Falmouth in Cornwall for a well deserved week away! We stayed in a beautiful cottage/mansion! It was so beautiful we could see the sea from our window and we were 2 minutes walk away from a ice cream shop! (yummy) we had a lovely break we went to the zoo and plenty of visits to the beach, we also decided to take our dogs with us, on the left is bella which is my mums dog, and on the right is honey which is mine, they were so well behaved and loved every minute of the beach! Here they are posing together :)

Here are two of my latest furry friends bumper kits :)

Thunderbirds are go! by Tina Fitch

Its the weekend of RIAT this week.. Royal International Air Tattoo.. and I am going !Tuesday of this week we visited RAF Fairford to watch the United States Thunderbirds land, With my new 7D Canon Camera which I am still learning to use I took some fantastic shots of the Jets coming in to land, This photo being one of them!We stayed for quite a while not really knowing what time they would arrive, The actually flew into the country earlier in the day and did some flypasts over some of the other RAF bases,, One being RAF Lakenheath which I normally visit, But I knew the parking would be restricted so we drove to Fairford where they will be based for at least a week or so.Cant wait till Sunday when we have access to the airshow! My first RIAT visit..All files in all formats for all machine uers @ https://www.craftsuprint.com/tina-fitch/ Thanks for your continued support.

My House Move by Sheila Rodgers

I seem to have been away from CUP for ages - and that is because weve been moving house. We now have a larger house and a smaller garden and we are in a village instead of being 5 miles from anywhere. I can actually walk to the Oban ferry now so have also been having some retail therapy! Once we have finished sorting things out and moved my husbands office out of the spare bedroom and into his new office in the garden (which he hasnt started to build yet...) I will be able to move the boxes piled up in my office/craft room and have a good time playing. We have lovely views from the front of the house and I can watch the ferries coming and going. There have also been lots of yachts out in the Sound which are nice to watch too. Unfortunately we havent been blessed with the heatwaves of the rest of the UK and the midges are a pain (literally) - but you cant have everything. Im just pleased to be slowly getting back to normal.

Ive begun a new series of cards showing headlines from each year since 1955. A matching insert is available.

Jon Snow by Gillian Hutchinson

My Brother Grant has been hand painting die-cast models since we were kids...A long time ago now ;) Its a hobby he still enjoys to this day. He has won so many awards at shows for his work and does a lot of commission work too. He mostly paints military models but does dabble in other areas now. Jon Snow from Game of Thrones is one of those and with the new season due to start I thought I would share this with you.

New Generation by Vicki Avcin

Living in a rural area we have an abundance of wild life around the property. One of the things we love is our wallabies who we see most days grazing around the property. Since being here almost 10 years now, we have watched each year as the females go through the breeding cycle. In years of drought they may have a baby (joey) but because there is not much grass for them to feed on the joey will not crawl up to the pouch and grow but for the past 3 years we have had the pleasure of watching the mums pouch grow, waiting to see that first sign of a head or a leg sticking out, watching the bub get its fur and to the point where he/she will hang her head out of the pouch, then starting to graze on the grass while mum is eating and excitement when we see bub out of the pouch for the first time. Usually the first time they are out they dont stay out for long before diving back in to the safety of mums pouch. Probably also a bit warmer in there! Well we now have our new bub well out of the pouch and just putting on the best cuteness act. Quite amusing too when mum decides shell hop off down the back with the little one hopping along behind…… you can almost/imagine it saying smaller hops mum so I can keep up. It really is an exciting time when we see them out and on their own. They are not tame (like in the sanctuaries) but they do know us and know we are no threat to them so they usually look up and oh its you and go back to eating. Now this little one has to learn that too. Last years bub we call Cutey Pattootie, will get within about 2 metres of us with no worries. Maybe one day one will venture close enough to pat but we respect they are wild animals so we prefer to look and admire from a distance.

Staying on the Australian theme and Christmas in July Ive promoted some of my Australian designs but I have many other designs also so take a look at all my designs.

Mystery Plant! by Sue Way

Hubby and I love fuschia & have many varieties in out garden. I planted a few in tubs earlier in the year, but one of them didn;t survive. I was disappointed but then noticed another plant growing in the pot. I didnt know what it was but decided to leave it to grow. It grew very quickly & the leaves got quite big. My hubby & daughter thought it was a geranium, but I thought I recognised it & was thinking maybe a vegetable of some kind. When I looked at it today it had a little yellow flower growing in the centre, so now I am thinking its a courgette. I have shared this [pic on facebook and many agree with me, but some are saying it may be a marrow or cucumber. So its still a bit of a mystery, but I am happy that I may be getting a free vegetable in a few weeks time. Thank you to the birds for dropping the seed. I will update you on what it is later ;) This week I have added a few more Sweet Little ladies. I hope you love them as much as I do as I will be uploading lots more very soon. http://www.craftsuprint.com/sue-way/?r=968387

The Burning Birthday... by Clare Walker

Where would you like to go?, said my husband, as I stuck my head away from the computer for long enough to realise that yes, another birthday had come around. I chose Myddleton Gardens in Enfield. Hadnt been, and its famous for having flowers planted by an artist. A done deal surely? Well, they do good scones, and its peaceful, with interesting history. But in lots of beds where there should have been flowers, through absolutely no-ones fault, many areas had simply been burnt to a crisp by the outrageous, 90+ degree heat of the last few weeks. So we took photos where we could (including of this gorgeous poppy)...and resolved to go back in the autumn.

Catch of the Day! by Janyce Cotterill

Theres always a lot going on in a harbour. Boats coming and going, unloading of the catch of the day. Our visit to Dunbar harbour recently, in East Lothian Scotland, as always, was interesting. There are around 600 pairs of kittiwakes nesting in the Dunbar Castle ruins overlooking the harbour, dating back to around 1710, so its always noisy in the breeding season. As usual we saw Sammy the seal who is around the harbour most of the year. You can see Sammy in the photo waiting near a boat for a scrap to be thrown, we have even seen him get onto a boat for a fish. Then there are the herring gulls, helping the fishermen clear up the scraps on the boat, as you can see in the photo too! So its place full of activity, taken advantage of by not only us but the wildlife too. I have to leave you with, of course a couple of sea themed designs. One more on the tropical fish side, and my latest mini-kit which is all things nautical. Thank you for your interest.

SMELLING by Wanda Lipski

Its what my hubby always says when something smells nicee ! Yes, Ok his English is rather rudimentary but the Drome department is rather smelling at the moment as due to the hot weather, they are harvesting the lavender early this year. Its not my favourite smell in a bottle, but in the wilds of nature, just heavenly. You can see the field in the middle of the photo has lost a lot of its purple. A couple of my recent uploads for you that dont smell (odour of sainthood perhaps ?) but for those of you not lucky enough to be on holiday .... ENJOY and to any Frenchies out there reading this on Frances National Holiday BONNE FÊTE.
