On our trip to the Isle of Wight we visited the owl and monkey sanctuary. This is ketch the eagle owl. He was hand reared by the keepers because his parents couldn't look after him. The photo is Ketch at the start of his teenage style tantrum.
He decided he didn't want to have his photo taken so decided to have a flap. He then refused to sit on the keepers hand and just wanted to hang upside down. The poor keeper was really embarrassed and had to call the head keeper. When he turned up Ketch sat good as gold and stopped flapping. even owls have strops lol.
We all got to stroke him ,he was beautiful xx
We have just spent a lovely weeks holiday In Norfolk, UK. The weather was mainly kind to us ,and my nose managed to get a sun tan lol. This photo is My Hubby Paul hiding behind Maisie our Scottie dog. We were on a boat trip around the Norfolk Broads.
We made lots of new friends and Maisie was very popular.
During her holiday,our Granddaughter Lexie had great fun chasing giant bubbles. I love this photo as Lexie is actually jumping off the ground . At least plalying with bubbles is clean fun xx
As the summer in the UK is drawing to an end ,my Niece and her family are gearing up for summer.
They live in Sydney ,Australia ,and love to spend weekends surfing at Bondai Beach.
AS you can see even Minnie the pug has her own life jacket so she can and catch a wave .
Water sports are a family affair xx
We spent a lovely sunny Bank Holiday Monday,in the Village Of Paull, East Yorkshire. the Scare crow trail is on each year and brings a good crowd.
There were 28 Scare crows this year, including a six foot robot and David Bowie.
This was our favourite though .Two racing cars and even a starter hanging from the bushes waving a flag .
