A soft Shell on Shell Lace Effect Scarf

This crochet pattern is for an easy to follow light weight long scarf, using double crochet, single crochet and chain stitches to form this shell design into a pretty lace effect scarf.

I have included photographs of the easy steps.

I have used a light weight 8 ply yarn to achieve the size of 157cm long and 10cm wide by using a 4mm crochet hook.

I have made this scarf many times and have included a photograph of a scarf made with a chunkier feel yarn, which is just as beautiful and lovely to wear.

The pattern works with any yarn and any size hook depending on the desired effect and size you want to achieve.
