Remember how I said Toffee my cat was not very clever, well we worked that out right at the beginning.
Here he is as a very small but nosy kitten.
You must have heard of 'curiosity killed the cat', well Toffee thought I would be fun to hide from his sister inside my work coat.
Fun until he squeezed down the sleeve & got stuck in the cuff ;0) I had to push him back through to get him out, daft cat!
I have had quite a few cats over the years, but Toffee has got to be the dumbest. This is just one of the pictures I have of Toffee.
He is lying in my greenhouse on a wire frame, not only that but it was when the weather was very hot.
The thermometer was well over 100 degrees on that day. How he can be comfortable enough to sleep I have no idea. More crazy cat pictures to come, watch this space ;0)
The hot dry weather here in the UK has done amazing things for the plants. Here is the perfect rose. It is an Alex Red hybrid tea & is highly fragranced. As you can see by my hand it is huge.
All the rose flowers are bigger this year & no black spot on any of the plants. Check out my rose designs
Today I spent some time having fun with my daughter. I have a Simply Sushi DVD & we thought we would have a go. We had to prepare all our ingredients first & then put on the DVD. It was a lot harder than I thought.
Here are our results, my plate has the prawns on top & the other plate is my daughters. I think they turned out well for our first attempt. We had them for tea, they were lovely ;0) What we really needed was some cupcakes to finish our meal ;0)
It's coming to that time of year again. My mother in-laws birthday!!!. She has always been stubborn & I am sure this year will be no different.
Every year she insists that she doesn't want a birthday present & won't say what she would like. Last year my husband was so fed up with his mum saying this, that he had this chocolate plaque made at Thorntons.
He said the lady in the shop was very surprised about the lettering but did it anyway.
Needless to say his mum was surprised too & after she had finished laughing she said it was the best present ever. check out my new butterfly fold back cards & mini cupcakes in loads of flavours
