Last weekend our beautiful cat, Claude, turned 13. Nothing remarkable about a cat turning 13 these days . . . except that Claude has had a heart condition since he was 2 and has been on multiple medication ever since.
The vet told us that cats usually have 2 to 3 years left after being diagnosed with a heart condition so naturally we're thrilled with every extra year:-) He has a big personality and is a huge part of our lives.
For one reason or another he makes us smile every day. Attached is one of my new box card designs with a cute pooch - please click on my name to view otherdesigns.
The other design is a bag & card kit

In November last year the company I work for announced multiple site closures - one of them being the site at which I work.
Last week I recieved my 12 weeks notice - a week for each year I've worked there - which will take me up to June 30th when the majority of employees, including myelf, will leave.
Over the next 12 weeks, I'll be getting busy searching for jobs.
It will be a challenging time, no doubt, but I'm looking forward to new opportunities. A lot has happened in those 12 years so the picture I've posted is just a small collage Below are 2 uplifting designs - a shaped topper & an ODEs Bumper Kit.
I hope they make you smile.

In the office where I work there are a lot of people who work very hard fundraising for various charities and organisations.
Last Wednesday at work was a little different, we supported National Autism Awareness Day by wearing onesies to work.
Until Tuesday evening I hadn't owned a onesie - I asked my partner to buy a bright one especially for the event. The picture is of the onesie he bought that I wore all day at work on Wednesday.
There were a lot of people supporting this good cause which was great . . . and it was the most comfortable I've ever been at work, despite being a little warm from time to time. Below are 2 of my floral edgy designs

I was thrilled when my partner agreed to my turning the spare room in to my very own craft room.
This meant that we could restore order to our dining room - usually the table and sideboards couldn't be seen due to all the craft items on them - and actually eat dinner in there all the time rather than only on special occassions. I planned the decorating, the storage and the organisation.
As you can see I haven't quite achieved the organisation yet . . . should only take a month or two ;-) Attached are 2 of my designs that are much more ordered and elegant than my craft room at present.

No Pink! No Flowers! Must be Cute! . . . That was the "guidance" I received regarding a Mother's Day card for my Mum. I'd had similar instructions for her 60th Birthday - just over a week ago.
It was going to be a challenge but thanks to some cup designer resources, by Karen Adair, and a very cute digi stamp cat I managed to pull it out of the bag with the design shown . . .
Mum loved it. PHEW ;-) Here are 2 finished cards - 1 that is perfect for me and another that is perfect for my Mum.
Can you guess which is which?
