Gough?s Cave Hubby and I have been away for the week having a great time at Brean. While we were there we visited the Chedder Gorge. For anyone who has never been it is worth a visit.
Thank goodness I didn?t go there in peak season as there was, of course quite a lot of steps. Being that there were so few people about, it was not a problem going at a nice slow relaxing pace.
This first cave was discovered by a man called Gough and visitors have a personal talker that tells you all about the cave and different sections of it.
Some of it was truly breath taking. The mirror pools were very effective. There is even reference to an earthquake that happened many years ago, not the recent one in Dudley. Really was great. More to follow??.

We had a great time on our family mid week break. We visited Blackpool to see the lights. Wow!!!! They were breath taking and seemed to go on for miles.
They had some crowns in lights to celebrate the Queens 50th year, as well as a lot of Disney themed characters.
I loved the daleks. My 2 year old Granddaughter was sat in the front of the car with her Mum and was fascinated by them.
Such a lot of hard work and effort had gone into this truly magnificent display. Defiantly worth a visit!

While out and about last week we visited a farm called Farmer Teds Farm Park in Ormskirk. A great place to visit for anyone in the area. Regardless of the weather there is plenty to do.
We went on a very bouncy tractor ride singing songs like Old McDonnald Had a Farm. My granddaughter who is 2 had loads to keep her happy. They had sand pits, tractor bikes as well as an indoor soft play area. Plenty of animals normally seen on a farm, as well as liamas, reindeers, reptiles and guinea pigs.
There were also demonstrations like milking cows, pony grooming and feeding time. When parents need their well earned rest there is a cafe in the soft play area where they can relax.
My granddaughter didn't get the meaning of relax and thought that meant I should be playing with her. It's hard work being a Grandmother!!

Wanted to share this photo of such a beautiful building in Spain. Inside there was a fantastic ship. The whole thing was done by one man without the use of machinery many years ago.
It's easy to think that this was a castle built for royality but it didn't have the size. It belonged to a man that had a lot of creativity and love for his work.

I was away from home over the weekend and the hotel I was staying at, by chance was having a Wedding Fair.
They also had wedding dresses fashion show, as seen in the photo. I was able to get some stunning pictures.
Some of the dresses were breathtaking and the cars were out of this world. The highlight of the show for me was the free gooseberry icecream, mmmmmm, out of this world. I kept going back for a bit more. I love gooseberries!
