One of our favorite places is Stratford Upon Avon. We had our daughter and her partner staying with us last weekend so we took them to Stratford for the day as they had never been before.

We had a fantastic time because although we had lots of rain on the Saturday the sun came out while we were in Stratford Upon Avon on the Sunday.

Of course having our daughter with us we had to go in every shop there was and then we ended up at our favorite restaurant The Encore for a lovely Sunday lunch.

My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Croatia. We stayed in a hotel that overlooked the beautiful village of Cavtat not far from Dubrovnik. We visited Dubrovnik old town twice during our stay.

We went there once by day to explore the city walls which feature in the TV series 'A Game of Thrones'.

We went back one evening to see the walls lit up and have a nice meal in the square.

We would certainly like to go back again to Croatia as its such a beautiful little country :) Today I am promoting two card using my hand drawn characters Andy and Chloe who by the way are named after my grandchildren
