During our recent break in North Yorkshire, we paid a visit to the old market town of Guisborough. It's a town I hadn't been to before and I was pleasantly surprised at how pretty it was. We came across the ruins of the Gisborough Priory, built in the 12th century. The only remaining part of the building is the east end of the priory, but it is a very striking feature.

Below are a couple of my newest Christmas designs.

While we were on our recent caravan trip, we had a cheeky little lodger! We must have pitched up right in the middle of this little robin's territory. He spent the whole week, perching on everything on our pitch. He particularly enjoyed perching on every possible part of my car and kindly left evidence of each visit! Consequently, the car needed a bloomin' good wash, at the end of the holiday.

I've added a mixed bag of new downloads this week. Several for Christmas.

I have just had a lovely week away in North Yorkshire. We couldn't have picked a better week for the weather, it was beautiful. Seven days pitched in the forests on the North Yorkshire Moors was just bliss.

The caravan site was so quiet, now that the schools are back and we had plenty of space, as you can see. I could definitely get used to the life of barbecues, eating outside, chilling, walking, watching the wildlife and sleeping!

During our recent trip to Whitby, it was Folk Week. Throughout the town were talented people providing street entertainment. This young man was attracting some of the biggest crowds. Dan is a well known Football Freestyler, who has appeared on television, at Wembley Stadium and he also owns a number of world records. His tricks with a football are amazing.

I captured him, as he balances the ball on his head and in the next second, removes his woolly hat at the speed of lightening, leaving the ball perfectly balanced on his head.

Whilst on our most recent caravan trip, we spent a day in Whitby. We had a pleasant surprise, as we found ourselves in the middle of the annual Folk Week. Whitby has hosted this special week for the last 40 years.

It's obviously very popular, as I have never seen the town so busy. The town was full of talented musicians, folk and morris dancers, so we were entertained throughout the day. These are a couple of my newest Christmas designs.
